Just been under the car trying to diagnose a mystery rattle that got worse last night...turns out my gear linkage is rather loose. And so is part of my nearside caliper even though all bolts are tight.

@j4mes-c only 1 day to go though. I've had gearbox and injector problems but you can't always check for it. Also mine has some knocking from the front end and the brakes need replacing, obviously items like that affect the handling and drive so pretty clear when you need to sort it. Otherwise...

So I finally spent some cash after umming and ahhing for too long... Love them, but they look a little lost in the arches so I'm probably going to lower it a touch and consider some spacers, funds allowing. What size and type is recommended? I believe these are ET43

Thanks @Goodj Well me being a dumbass, the last time I tried to fit it it still had a Ford adapter lead, so having removed that it fit straight in. I'll see if I can live without the stalk controls but I do miss them already!

Well before that my daily was a Fiesta RS Turbo, which I did enjoy, it was more the size and lack of guts that I didn't like about the eunos

I had a 1.8 eunos before my cup, although only had it a couple of months. I didn't really enjoy it as a daily. The Cup is great but it has cost me around £700+ on gearbox, clutch and injector in the 5 months I've had it.

I'm almost certain someone posted up some turinis similar to the OP on CSOC facebook page a couple of months ago

@boomerbang2006 I haven't done anything further. It passed the MOT no problems and he didn't mention anything but there is still a knocking that annoys the hell out of me. I did find a thread somewhere on the Bilsteins where a lot of people have had to get them rebuilt.

Finally fixed my horn...I can now let the idiots on the road know how p****d off they make me! Also fitted an old bluetooth Sony headunit, which is much better sound, along with a 6 disc changer for no other reason than it having been sat in my shed for a few years unused.

I never did end up doing anything on this area of my car. I have an old Sony bluetooth headunit which I'm considering fitting for the time being...however, I don't know what lead I need to fit it? I need some sort of adapter as it won't connect as is. I have looked at the autoleads section in...

Had mine done at Preston Transmissions although for different symptoms... Box rebuild £350 Clutch £120 Labour £150

Quick update: Box was rebuilt at Preston Transmissions along with a new clutch. Very happy with the service and the car has been running fine. This week it's had a new injector and a fresh MOT with no advisories!

Picked my car up after a gearbox rebuild and clutch. The clutch is so much smoother and lighter and the box is obviously as it should be

Looks like a new box is due. Presumed to be the diff gear or something along those lines. I've put up a wanted post but obviously will need to replace the clutch too..where is the best place to get that from?

It was the previous owner who took it there a couple of years ago.
