Thanks for the response guys.
The reason I asked was generally, Ktec seem to offer quality parts so was interested to see if the miraculously cheap coilovers actually had any merit. In response to some of the answers, yes i'm looking for a performance and handling upgrade instead of 'mad lowz'...
Hello CS'ers..
Who has had experience with these? http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2853&appid=2
In the research stage of uprating my suspension on the Cup. I know there is massive recommendation for new cup shocks with cooksports however for the same price range the above can be...
Started out with a mk1 1.2 that I kept mint and it looked fantastic. Progressed to a Williams that was broken all of the time but the sillyness of it was what truly hooked me on Clios.
Deviated for a bit and dabbled in the drifting scene which I also love, but after realising I could afford the...
Quite honestly, the best thing you can do on a 1.2 is whack on the nicest coilovers you can afford with some 15" turbines or rare cool wheels. It'll look great and not cost the earth. If you really want to change up the interior, maybe invest in a sport interior.

As above, I've had a E36 328i and now own a 172 Cup, before this owning a Williams to add to the pot.
The BMW looks awesome, is smooth as silk to drive, feels executive, built like tanks and are fast in the top end but personally, excitement never comes into it unless you go drifting. However...
Absolutely adored my first car, a Mk1 Clio Les Routiers. Was lowered on coilovers, cream leather interior and little detailing bits.. completely mint.
I hear about it from time to time and it has been owned by a fair few people now, looking VERY tired and abused :(
(Old forum signature from...
Oh sorry, was referring to mine (as i have an aftermarket system with no box) ..thought it may provide some info to you of another cause of the rattle!
Had a Mk1 Ph2 Clio as my first car and jumped to a Ph1 Williams as soon as it was vaguely affordable. Got bitten by the drifting bug hard and have been skidding about in cars of varying states of broken-ness until now, I am back in the car that I aspired to have when I was still in the clios, a...
