Tried starting up the clio to give it a warm up ready for a track day next weekend.
Recently had belts done and drive fine however now it won’t start!
On turn of the key it will try to fire however engine wont fire up.
Have checked and injectors and they aren’t sending fuel.
Ideas?
Just been a picked it up.
Feels a lot more responsive and the tickover is a lot more even.
PBS prorace pads feel very bitey and sharp.
Noticed more squeek an and rattles driving it on the road for the day but then I guess I’m only ever giving it death on track so is way to noisy to even...
You won’t need to cut much.
What do you mean waterproofing?
Second hand door cards are to the penny now as they have all been ripped out for track cars so would be an easy job just to have a second set of door cards to cut into
Oh right didn’t know about the redundancy. Sorry to hear that.
Shame you sold it, was a cracking spec and history.
Still think you’re mad for selling the rb.
Remember when you melted the spoiler 😂
Best thing to do is just cut the plastics for the to fit.
Let’s be honest, you aren’t going to swap back to the standard speakers or if you sold the car, surely they would just stay in with the sale.
Yeah that’s what I’m hoping.
I mean.. it didn’t go bad anyway but I did say to my mate who’s got my old clio that it didn’t feel as nippy.
Wasn’t fun at 7am this morning in the frost with no heaters, carpets or comfy seats.
Today is belts day.
Just had a phone call to ask if it had been cammed as the timing was miles out.
never trust anyone who says belts have been done by a specialist before 😂
Yep these look good.
I’ve got the fog duct already in place but at the moment it’s just like tumble dryer duct cable tied to stuff and looks a mess.
So the c6 ducting just connects to the rear of the fog duct is that correct?
Hi Guys,
Anybody able to show me the routing of their brake ducting and what they have used from fog light cutouts to caliper?
I have some installed however on full lock it is catching on something and also the condition of the ducting is not the best so I want to replace it.
Today I fitted the bonnet catches I have had lying around.
Most time consuming job ever and a complete ball ache to line up but got there in the end.
Also changed gearbox oil.
@JamesBryan correct as usual. 2.8 litres until it levelled.
Old oil that came out wasn’t bad and no swarf so happy days.
If anyone is heading over from the West Midlands and wants to convoy then I’m keen.
Will be trailering the clio though so will be a steady one on the Friday afternoon.
