Thanks! The pads are from Halfords, used them on my last car and stuck well. Used 6mm on the rear and 1mm on the front so they sit right.

Popped the new plates on, they look so much better! Took a bit of messing about making sure they were straight but think I managed it.

I was just about to ask exactly the same q as the OP! First time I have had a car which I am interested in doing anymore to than just a wash (with a single bucket, horror!). There are just so many different products out there and as a newbie it's difficult to tell what (if any) the differences...

I just bought my first RS (172) at 25! What else would you want to own anyway that doesn't also have an 'image' to some people?! BMW = doesn't come with indicators, Audi = most likely to cut you up, Volvo = grandad driving...... (don't shoot the messenger, I also have access to a Volvo and BMW).

@Cub. that's what I was wondering too. The Origine RS website has a page for eligibility but I don't really understand how/when the condition of your car is judged.

It's great that they are different weekends this year, first year of owning my RS so wanting to get out to the shows and meet people/their cars as much as possible!

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone was thinking of going to Origine RS at Goodwood on 22nd August, or went last year? I guess you buy a ticket and when you turn up on the day your car is judged and placed in the different sections? Rach

Hi! Welcome along to the forum :) I'm a newbie myself as only bought my 172 on Xmas Eve but the forum is proving to be a great source of info and great people! Renault Watford sound like they were being v crap, but at least Renault themselves could help you out. Hope to see some pictures soon!

Normal unleaded is 105.9 around here (Derby) but apparently down to 97.9 at a chain of garages over towards Birmingham :-o think V-Power was about 114.9 which is still pretty good! Only filled the car up once since buying it, do you guys see much of a difference with premium petrol rather...
