I did see on my way out they had got the tractor out so assumed that people were getting stuck, but the fiver extra to park on the south back was well worth it today. We watched the third stage from the car with the heater on.
The number 20 Clio was doing really well in the morning stages...
As far as I aware there a aftermarket part coming through, we currently stock the itg pro filter and there maxogen kit. Itg have reported gains of 13-15bhp on a mapped car for these.
The itg filter for the 172 ph1 (round airbox) is a popular item we sell, there is probably not a lot in it between them, the OEM airbox with a itg works well thou.
That Merlin price doesn't include vat, to purchase a cleaning kit from Merlin deliveried to your door is about £27.
We can do it cheaper I can offer a cleaning kit for £22 saving you a fiver.
I have heard for people using warm soapy water to clean there itg filters before, I've got a few cleaning kits in stock I will see what instructions come with them and I can grab a picture for you if you want and post it up or pm you with it.
Also itg are currently redeveloping the jdr-1 oil...
If you do choose to go down the panel filter route ive normaly got these on the shelf but they are popular so stock levels are never a constant. I can offer these at a reduce rate for Clio sport members.
I do like these in the orange temped by one myself for person\develpment car. It's not the first I've heard about Ford's paint I remember people weren't to happy about the match on the green focus rs's that was bumpers to wing.
I can supply a few bits for these itg filters/cais silicon hose ect.
The wheels finish it off nicely, you look to have most things covered for your service. Just out of curiosity did you get the itg filter from eBay. It's just we sent out one your sorta way.
These look really good in grey, your very unlucky to have some one pull out in front of you. Glad it got fix thou. What made you go against the grain and sell the fiesta?
I think they will be more desirable then the mk2 as they use a ford engine not a Volvo lump, it will appeal more to the ford purist. Plus these are rarer you don't see many of these on the road anymore. I'm very temped to get one a do something similar to you keep it mint and only do reversible...
Got a serious soft spot for these I believe these could be a future classic if there kept nice like yours is. Top work fella your not helping me resist buying one lol.
As above itg recommend that you use only there cleaning kit as cotton and foam cleaning kits are different. I have heard of people using petrol to clean there filters along with warm soppy water, I haven't used the method myself so can't comment any more then that.
Also the postage charge does...
we use the sbd setup on are own fiesta st track car, and there a cracking setup we are making decent power from them on a standard bottom end plus a set of different cams we made 217bhp and 170lbs, considering the fiesta is only 150ish bhp oem it was a good gain. The throttle response is still...
If you boys are after itg panel filters i can do these at £50 delivered to you, the rrp on these is £55. Ive got two left in stock at the moment ready for dispatch.
We have been using itg filters on are project car for a while the current filter has been on the car for 3 years and isn't showing much wear apart from where it rubs. How odd your is falling apart my first question would be what are you cleaning it with but you have already answered that.
There nothing to exciting out the box a few simple mods and they open up, or you can spend lots on them there a few supercharged ones or can go like we did, ours is on throttle bodies at 214bhp on standard bottom end for the time being.
the engines do respond well to a few simple mods, there not bad cars the powersteering is something to keep an eye on along with the rear calipers getting sticky.
