in the end my mechanic dosnt want to get involved in the running fault because it could be anything its like opening a can of worms he could put a price in and it work out 2x that so ive give it back to the garage and said sort it out if its not sorted im having my money back.

thanks for the advise but the main faults where a running fault my mechanic rekons engines misfiring he thinks the engines been in pieces and put back together badly, and engine or gearbox mounts need replacing, new discs and pads all round there the major faults, minor faults are - washer jets...

unfortunatly the refund is a no i spent over an hour arguing with him but no joy he kept saying i have to give him chance to repair it which is bullshit ive been on to trading standards and when the cars "fixed" if its not right ill be going down the legal route if he still says no !
