I think the key is finding a sensible tester. Obviously avoid bigger chains, as they will likely have no idea. I used to have my rally car tested in a little garage in the local village and he was fine with it, as he was really into his cars and bikes anyway. Another avenue might be to find a...
Car looks great. I do think they need a slightly larger spoiler, but agree the Cup spoiler looks a bit off. I've not seen any aftermarket options either.
In your opinion maybe, but not mine. The engine in the T.50 is impressive but, in the videos I've seen at least, the high revs mean you don't get the same induction bark as you get in the F1. Don't get me wrong, it's cool in its own way, but I'd take the F1.
I've watched some of Harry's video but, honestly, I can't get that excited about the T.50. I can see why Murray wanted to revisit the concept after the F1 but, to me, it feels like a sequel that just doesn't have the soul of the original. It's extremely impressive, but the F1 looks better...
My missus uses it all the time and keeps telling me I need to make better use of it. We're both 41 and she always worries about future job security for older people, and she is convinced that, if we don't keep on top of AI, we could easily find ourselves jobless.
I do use ChatGPT a bit, but I...
I think AI is the single biggest threat we face and have probably ever faced. In terms of jobs, it's like the industrial revolution but with all of the steroids. It's going to make us ask serious questions about whether people actually work, or whether we essentially give people money to live...
Following this with interest, though will wait for full console release, as don't have much of a gaming PC.
I really hope they get the tarmac physics right, as that seems to let down most rally games.
I give him credit for what he's achieved, though he came from a pretty good background which no doubt helped. I just can't stand the content though. The model of "just buy another supercar" holds no interest to me whatsoever.
Don't like his content at all, but he is apparently one of the hardest grafters in car YouTube world, and he's certainly done some fun stuff off the back of it, so I guess you have to give him that. I'd rather pull my eyes out with a pair of barbeque tongs that watch his videos though.
Can't stand him. There's something about him that drives me up the wall. He features some good cars, but some real dogs as well. I saw one a while ago with an engine swap and the mounts looked dangerous as anything.
I think they've discontinued that type of Patrol now. It's not on the Nissan Saudi website anyway. You can still buy a 70-Series Land Cruiser here alongside the latest models. They only took the FJ Cruiser off the market fairly recently too. I think that was available in a lot of places too.
Autoalex is shite, and most of the content his minions are putting out feels pretty much copy-and-paste. It's just endless repeats of "we bought the cheapest XYZ", coupled with desperation to pretend they're the original Top Gear trip by doing low-rent knock-offs of their road trips. They can...
Me too. It's getting worse and worse. It's an instant turn-off from me. Mind you, those channels where they just endlessly buy cars is pretty boring too, as they're just churning stuff out for content, not because they're actually passionate about it.
I know a few on here like a bit of rally content. This channel popped up in my feed recently, posting a lot of random clips from the '90s, including some testing footage and the like:
I don't think you can be a petrol head in the UK/Europe and not try to go at least once, even if you don't drive it. A lot of the guys I know try and go and quieter times in order to drive it but, to be honest, I'd rather go on the mad busy weekends like Easter and just soak up the atmosphere to...
I've been a few times, but not done many laps as a driver. A friend of mine rented a Clio some years ago and we split the cost between 3/4 of us so we got a few laps each. I'm glad I did it but, once I ticked the box, I have never felt particularly inclined to drive again. Given the risks of TF...
I think I would have preferred some kind of multi-spoke, but I like them overall. I think the OEM wheels really let the MK4 down, so these are a solid improvement.
In China for work and there are loads of tiny little electric cars everywhere. Most of them are entirely interesting, but the way this one had been decorated made me chuckle:
It might depend on what you're planning and what car it is. If it's for a 172/182, 100% go down the induction kit route, as they sound brilliant. In fact, I'd do that whatever kind of Clio it is. I think panel filters are a bit of a waste of time in reality.
As for Ramair, I've used them on...
I do find those videos get a bit "samey" after a while. As impressive as it is, there are so many times you can watch a car jump or do donuts. That said, actually making it happen is still deeply impressive, and Pastrana is a grade-A lunatic for the stuff he does.
Like @Adamm., I just have a load of music saved onto my phone, a lot of which is from old CDs, some of which is downloaded. Don't use Spotify or anything like that. Obviously means I don't have more recent stuff though, judging by what I hear when I have the radio on, I don't feel like I'm...
