Drove home from work fine, 10 mins later the car is completely dead. Can hear a clicking noise as i turn the key but nothing else. Have tried starting it with an engine starter, but still nothing. Thought it might be overheating, but its had 2hrs to cool down. What else could it be. Its 1 mk1...

I need to get access to the speed signal wire and the engine speed sensor. Had a look behind the clocks today, i can see a 3 pin connector attached to the speedo cable (1 black, 2 yellow) and a 2 pin connector attached to the rev counter (1 grey, 1 orange). Can anyone tell me which wires i need...

Was thinking of getting a Head Up Display fitted (Defi VSD Basis), anyone know if its possible or how to go about installing it. AFAIK there are only 4 wires to connect, +, - , speed sensor and revs. I have a 94 RT.

Am tired of looking at the acres of grey plastic in my car, so was looking for pics of your modded mk1 Clio interiors. Seats, door cards, dash retrims / colour coding, neons, dials, etc. Need some inspiration to get motivated. Just wanting some ideas, not to judge.

Just fitted one of these onto the passengers side and it looks great! Because of the angle of the dash, fitting a motorized HU into a mk1 would be difficult, not to mention stolen within a week. Heard that sunvisor TFTs werent too good. Managed to find one on ebay for £92 UK delivered, no...

Just fitted a sunvisor tv to the car, works well with an AV input but tv reception is poor. Just got it hooked up to the aerial right now. Anything i can do to improve the signal, like a 12V booster or something. The reception here (FIfe, Scotland) is okay, dont know if its better down south.
