Some feedback from me on comments
Like most have said, it's in a bit of a limbo state. Not a race car, Not a low mileage road car.
If I had a time machine I would leave it as the mint condition standard car it was back when I started.
Time and family commitments always change...
No interest in this recent post.

What would you do with it if it was yours?
Options
Reduce Price (whats it worth)
Make road legal and sell (whats it worth)
Keep it for 10 years in...
What would you but if you had a £1200 budget
Race/Sprint use only
Ktec 750mc spec coilocers - looks like you get the harder springs required 740lb front and 450lb rear springs with Spax dampers
Gaz Golds or BC - looks like they come with much lower rated springs.
Do I go for the kit with the...

Hi
I have been waiting for the new SD cage to drop.
Now it has, seen some negative comments. I was 100% going for SD but now I have no idea.
For the money, whats the best MSA spec cage for the Clio?

Thanks.
So options
Find a mobile auto electrician with clip? Recommendations for Derby area please.
Trailer it to a garage to be tested? Something you could test Mick?
Great feedback cheers.
Now this is no exact science and possibly my imagination but I have tried rotating 360 either way and setting. I'd does feel like when revving it cutts at low revs. In the correct position (I belive and have looked at the agreed way on the forum) it seems to rev freely...

Not sure how robust they are but can't think that I knocked it about when removing steering wheel. Original wheel back on.
Just don't want to get the my first track day and esp kicking in when it shouldn't.
Would getting a few miles in calibrate it?
Please help
I have done the, get the dot to colour change and rotation set.
Does there need to be a calibration?
When turning on the ignition the esp light goes off on dash (as normal)
I can then use the swith to deactivate as normal (light comes on). Then swith back on (light goes off).
All...
Just checked regs, Flywheel.
So if I am in that ball park, got to get the car to 1180kg to make it 150bhpt.
Don't like the sound of adding that much weight.
Still not sure if the engine could be detuned by 10-15bhp.
Who did your mapping?
Again great info very helpful. Sounds like you doing it right, having fun and getting results.
No diffs in hot hatch class c unless fitted as standard and brake calipers must be standard.
Going to be an interesting winter, aiming to fit cage then see what happens after that.
Mallory for me...
Sounds like I wont be far away with the 182. Very useful information on weights and Bhp thanks
Sounds like same regs, weight including driver and bhp at hubs.
Still building, aiming for car to be around 1000kg, I weigh around 80kg.
Would rather get it lighter and detune 10 -15 BP, seen what...
Thanks, was hoping to keep it as light as possible. Thinking brakes and tyre life. Although I think playing around with weight distribution could be beneficial.
Hi, sounds like an odd question.
Looking at the possibility of racing 750 club Hot Hatch.
Would like to compete in Class C, any car with 150bhp per ton.
Would like to detune my Clio (don't wan to buy an ST thing).
I would like to get car down to 1 ton, so would need 150bhp.
Is it possible ? Hope...
Hi
Probably the same old question.
Just got myself a 182 cup to play with. Cambelt changed 5 years ago, but only done 20k on it.
I don't want to change it, anybody done an extra year?
05 plate done 55k in total.
Cheers
