MOT fail - Sabelt steering wheel - lack of airbag

It's on the service history now so any MOT'er could also be persuaded by this. Can try this but no guarantees this will work and in the meantime throwing money away.

MOT fail - Sabelt steering wheel - lack of airbag

Anyone got an original steering with the squib they would be prepared to sell? MOT tester refuses to pass it now without this (never had an issue before), never had one for ours it was how we bought it. Or be prepared to rent it to us to get it through the MOT.

    Clio driving advice/tips

Get your car set up for track. I have a RARB and cage in mine and it slides quite nicely together but being front wheel drive the throttle peddle can be your best friend to get you out of some hairy moments, having already overused it to get you into those situations. ;)

    Been in an accident

Can't believe you have to pay out at all when it wasn't your fault. Your excess should be a claim against you and your insurance I would have thought, and you are not making a claim on it, only claim is against the 3rd parties insurance. Happened to me a few years ago and I told my company about...

    Clio 172 Track Car Setup

    Clio 172 Track Car Setup

Yeah, don't think the guy at qwik fit liked us. That's why was after some ones recommendation really in and around Lincoln to sort it out. Will try my luck somewhere else then after I've got a set of camber bolts. Strangely when I took the front wheel off, no camber bolts so not sure how this...

    Clio 172 Track Car Setup

Thanks for that, below is our setup as it stands, to me seems all over the place. Camber seems too far off at the front, set of camber bolts for the front then? Rear also off but how far is too far off? Camber shims required to fix from my limited research....

    Clio 172 Track Car Setup

Hi All, New here and recently purchased a Clio 172 to do track days in with a mate. Car had steering wheel to one side when we purchased it. Bought a set of Federal RSR's to stick on which my local Qwik Fit did for us, asked them if they could have a look at the setup sheet the guy had...

Does a wheel size have an effect on a Track car

Just recently got a 172 and looking to track it. Going to be running 15's on Federal RSR's for dry, and 16's on Rainsports for really wet. Generally smaller wheels, better acceleration... Bigger wheels, better top end speed.
