On track to have the RS2 inlet fitting to my 172 Cup.
One thing that's bothering me is the filter. It looks like someone has run over it.
I'm struggling to find a replacement.
It's a Pipercross item. However nothing on thier site seems to match the size of this one.
Anyone have any...
Cam Belt Kit, Keyed Bottom Pulley, 197 cams, 7 degree timing, aux belt, oil + filter, coolant, 182 Manifold, sports CAT and an MOT (no advisories) for good measure.
Phil at the Grange Service Station Cardiff put in a great shift.
I was expecting it to be super hard to drive it...
Not sure if I've mentioned Tasty Classics before and can't see it mentioned (recently at least)
Noticed the amount of total views are dropping, not sure if that's because his thumbnails have changed quite a bit, for the worse.
Plenty more in my build thread. That's the Matterhorn in the distance.
My gripes, exhaust was too droney and the I had a dead arse from the seat. Both of these things are my fault and not the Clio's.
Been gathering parts the last month or so.

Gathering some parts to get the most out of the RS2 inlet.
First part, a 182 exhaust manifold which I've bought from @Louis it has a V band flange welded on the end, which I think will make it easier.
My question is "how do I get this to connect up to a 172 exhaust?"
My current exhaust is a...
Bit of an update.
Pre vapour blasting.
And done...
Then I spent a few hours yesterday plumbing it all in. There are no fitting guides out there, that I could find anyway, and although pretty straight forward the vac line to brake booster had me stumped for a little bit. Also, the...
Put in some time this weekend on the JMS Inlet.
The manifold looked like it was painted with a brush, so I started to strip it.
Under the thick black was thick red. FML.
It beat me and I've dropped it for vapor blasting.
The aluminium which was anodised blue, which isn't the worst colour...
Great reply. Thanks @Brigsy
It came with these injectors:
Which I think are Megane 225 injectors.
Maybe the way forward is 182 Manifold, 197 cams and injectors then.
Day 5. The long road home.
Driving through some really old French villages that reminded me of Band of Brothers headed toward LeShuttle.
We stopped off at Reims for photos and lunch.
Back at LeShuttle we managed to get an earlier return journey which I was thankful for as I still had a...
Day 4 - We fueled up headed out of Sedrun for the last time, through Andermatt and south towards the San Gotthard Pass.
We stopped for breakfast and coffee surrounded by incredible views.
Next was west through the Nufenen Pass which was my favourite.
Pictures completed at the top, then...
Day 3
We headed southeast then on to the San Bernardino Pass. We all agreed that this wasn't the best pass for one reason or another.
We then continued further south to the Italian border and back north through the Panoramico Sosto.
This was popular with the locals.
We chilled here for a...
First we went west across the Furka then onto Grimsel and back east along
Susten. The views were unbelievable.
We headed along the Susten pass but hit stationary traffic at a road closure due to, of all things, Cows.
We span around and did the entire route in reverse.
Lunch at...
Recap of the drive from South Wales to Switzerland.
Arriving in Andermatt, the roads seemlessly went from motorway to hairpins in an instant, coupled with low fog and mist, it was quite a challenging drive both physically and mentally. The sheer drops, low viability and barriers made of shoe...
