    gutter strips removal / Refitting

You mentioned about them bending - you do have to be careful with them. I think I put a slight impression on one of mine, but I try to turn a blind eye to it! :P

    Rough/Low RPM Unstable Idle

Does it hunt about the lower revs when you pull up at traffic lights and the like, when warm? Replaced both of the oxygen sensors in mine and that fixed the problem outright. Almost felt like it was about to stall at times, regardless of how cold or warm the engine was.

    gutter strips removal / Refitting

Looks like three clips per side mate, from when I did mine back at the end of 2023. There's a small lug pin up towards the door end as well. I've added the part number photos of each strip if you needed to source fresh ones too? Those clips are fragile!!

Under carpet foam pad for the front footwells - still available?

As above really - anyone know the part number of the foam section under the front footwell carpet? Want to get a better/newer one to replace mine. Cheers.

182 Xenon's not going high enough

I had the exact same with mine - unfortunately, I cannot tell you what voodoo fixed them. I had the bumper off and everything towards the end of last year. Different headlight units, pissing about with new replacement adjusters, everything. I think my patience (or lack off) just got the best of...

182 not starting after sitting for a while, stop + battery lights on. Probably a flat battery, right?

Worth given the fuse tray a once over while you're there too. Although mine was covered - crap still gets in there. Gave all the pinouts a scrub with a small wire brush too. Some did have a little bit of surface corrosion on them - certainly did no harm anyway.

182 not starting after sitting for a while, stop + battery lights on. Probably a flat battery, right?

The battery is always my first suspicion when things like this start to misbehave. I had a new battery in 2020 and earlier this year I started noticing a few 'sluggish' things. Five years a good run for a car battery IMO - and I cleaned up the terminals (and fuse connectors) alongside the new...

Engine check light P0443 Evap emissions control? + misfire

Doesn't look like the OP has been on here in over a decade - I doubt he'll respond. Maybe someone else has had similar though?

Can this section in the footwell be removed easily?

Cheers mate - did do the whole 'rinse & repeat' of drain clearing last week. Got a length of flexi tubing which I've found to be excellent at clearing out the central drain. Had the washer bottle out at the same time doing some general tidying up and the drain that side was definitely clear. Ran...

Can this section in the footwell be removed easily?

Thanks all. Got a dehumidifier here - I'll chuck that in over a days and nights. Any ideas how it will have gotten wet in the first place? Heater matrix pipe leak possibly? Or could blocked scuttle drains do similar?

Can this section in the footwell be removed easily?

So, I’m addressing some of the water ingress in the front passenger footwell. I’ve taken the sponge out (pissed wet through and sopping) - but noticed the backing on this brown sheeting section is very wet on the back of it. Press it and some drips run down. Is it possible to remove & dry it...

    Day on a Corrado VR6

Random trivia I recall from years ago with Corrados. Had the windscreen replaced on my previous Punto GT. Was chatting to the bloke swapping the screen out and asked him what's the worst screen to replace. He said "Without doubt - the Corrado. Absolute t**t of a job." It was a franchise he...

Thanks for that. Just nabbed the one that @Marky_ mentioned above. They certainly look like the right ones.

Am I missing a piece of drainage trim?

Innit indeed. Just while I'm here - does anyone know what clips go in the end of the wiper cover trim, as seen in @Matt Cup 's image below? One side of mine are knackered and the other side isn't great.

    Water getting in

It's an utter s**t design. Both the central drain hole being tiny compared to the two outlying ones and that bizarre rubber tube that has a flap on the bottom. It's almost like they actively want to encourage blockages over time. Definitely worth checking that area more frequently too. I've had...

    Cyberpunk 2077

The cyberware and the quick-hacks are definitely a lot of fun. I tend to use the System Overload one a lot as it's one of the few hacks that are not traceable and is ideal for outlying enemies that are unlikely to be detected whilst lying on the ground. Of course, even when you are detected...

Thanks all. Seems like it does 'look' like something should be there, but isn't.

Am I missing a piece of drainage trim?

Haven't really noticed this before, but the drainage trim at the base of the windscreen on the driver's side I removed this weekend as it was clogged with leaves, soil and other debris. There appears to be an equivalent area on the passenger side to have one too, but I have have nothing there...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Did restart it last night - ffs... :p Picked a female this time - one with the street scroats background. Purposely going ahead to pick each and every negative/evil answer that I come across. Effectively, she'll be a heartless b**ch. Also, will try to go down the melee path as I completely...

Completed it, mate. Finished off with Johnny keeping my body. Watched some of the credits at the end and realised that there are likely to be some countries with a smaller population than the number of staff that contributed to this. Crazy.

What have you done to your car today ???

Bloody central drainage hole was clogged again..... Cleaned it out and as usual, the water came out below. Didn't stink this time as it's not really been that long since I last did it. Need to disconnect the funnel section to check on the seal below as well. I take it that aside from the...
