I'd be worried that if my monitor logged those details, my hours clocked would make those appear like rookie numbers.....
Tentatively looked into new monitors recently. Still using my old ROG 27" at 144Hz. G-Sync was the s**t back then, but on further reading, it appears that the...
Just double check what your calls and call plan entail. We've not had a landline number since we moved in here nearly five years ago - but my mum is insistent on using one.
Out of the blue - BT (who she's got her services with) came on with a sales pitch, part of which was to reduce her...
Handy info in this thread.
Can the gearbox oil level be checked via access through the filler port? Surprised that there's not a common dipstick feature on most gearboxes - would be something easy enough to implement - even if it was screwed into the outer housing of the gearbox itself.
As said before mate - absolute credit to you getting anywhere near a decent time with a pad. Arcade racers are one thing with a pad - but the likes of ACC and AC Evo are just chaos for me in using them. Almost like captaining the QE2 that now has 200 million horse-power on a jet ski course ...
So, the Ramair filter arrived yesterday and I fitted it today.
From the outset, the manufacturing quality was WAY superior than the Pipercross effort. I particularly liked the small lip within the collar that stopped the 70mm induction pipe from sliding further into the cone filter itself...
Out with the shitty Pipercross foam air filter and in with the Ramair.
Found it much easier to fit with the battery temporarily removed (probably not essential) - but glad I did as the right-side battery retainer clip was very loose.
Me being me and finding a rattle-can of Hammerite knocking...
New rubber/foam strip at the front of the engine bay.
Completely forgot about this until I saw one on Matt's car at the weekend. I don't think I've had one on for years?
Bought the above - cheers!
Was keen on getting it here ASAP and Amazon were a little cheaper, so win-win.
Now for the faff in claiming some money back for that crappy filter!
Checked the circumference of the pipe - roughly 22cm which I believe works out to be a 7cm diameter pipe?
Based on that - I would have thought this should be OK?

Or for another tenner or so? Looks smarter too...
Hopefully. Would be good if Pipercross just offered me a direct (and worthwhile) alternative.
Ask @Matt Cup about the sound - he heard me arriving....
So, purchased this from K-Tec recently.

The build quality of the piping and fitment was really pretty good and help removed a lot of OEM airbox items and associated piping. No...
Was just hanging about in the engine bay beneath the airbox. Wouldn't be the connector to the bonnet open sensor would it? I couldn't anything really that it would connect to within easy reach?
Thanks.
Noticed this little black grommet underneath where the standard airbox lies - that's clearly knackered. I think if I merely touched it, it would break in two and fall off.
Is it easily replaceable? If so - any idea of the part and what's involved?
Should I also lubricate anything around that...
Did a Plasti-Kote treatment on my interior grab handles years back - and to be honest, they are still good to this day.
Was saying to @Matt Cup just today that I'd like to do similar with the centre console if/when I remove the dash...
Very much liking it still. Having fun on the 'Ring and throwing in a random mix of AI opposition.
Totally agree though - I think (hope) it will truly shine in a few years. The main issue is that 99% of people will not have the patience to wait.
