So, this little addition arrived yesterday and it's definitely added to the game. I think I'll be building up my leg muscles in using it over distance though! :P
I can believe it.
When I picked my 182 up from Renault back in '04 - I was actually a bit disappointed with the feedback from the gearbox. Selecting gears was never a problem, but it had the directional commitment of a spoon handle in semi-solid porridge.
When the first service came around at...
+1
I'll bang the drum for changing gearbox oil until I'm pushing up daisies.
SO worth doing - especially if there is no record of it being drained and swapped previously.
Watched a YouTube video recently of a bloke in America buying a ropey looking Bentley at auction.
Pretty sure that NASA operates some space missions with less complex electronics. A bottomless pit of issues.
Snap!
Looking forward to the CSL load-cell brake pedal turning up. Fanatec said it was out for delivery from the 21st July, so it should be here at some point soon.
Managed to dip into the 1.27's earlier too.
What kit are you using Andy?
I used the settings below for a quick AI race. I reckon if I'd added another few minutes to the race, I would have nabbed pole from the winning car.
Started 2nd from the back on the grid and seems a nice balance of AI ability, without them resorting to Mad Max...
Nothing going wrong on cars terrifies me as much as electrics do.
Rust and corrosion can be cut out and replaced.
Electrics can baffle even the most dedicated and capable minds. Not forgetting the small, yet plausible risk of setting the damn thing on fire when messed about with!
I've done a variation of that route a couple of times and can confirm that the roads are indeed great to drive on.
On the map I did - I lopped-off the northern section - and went straight across from Sedbergh to Hawes - and onto Aysgarth, before heading south from there.
Need to redo it at...
The server is up and running at the minute if anyone wanted to join? It's on Brands Hatch at the minute, if you search for ClioSport.net.
Again, the password is Clio2004
Not in there myself just yet, but will be later.
Genuinely think that Rockstar have utilised the dark arts of voodoo with this game.
Fired it up the other day on my PC and Alt/tabbed back to Task Manager. Even with all the bells & whistles enabled, it was hovering around 2.7GB of memory usage.
How they ever managed that, I have no idea. Just...
Not added to this for a while, but Homeworld Remastered Collection is most certainly worthy of a mention.
The setting still 'feels' good to this day - but back when the original was released in 1999, it was mind-blowing. This remaster dates from 2015, but the ambient, sometimes hauting music...
Hi all,
I've heard on a few occasions when I've switched the car off, the whine of the system spooling down.
I've definitely not manually switched the air-con on and the A/C light isn't enabled. I never use the Auto function either - so I'm a little puzzled as to when it dictates as and when...
Sunday afternoon is most likely for me in-between the rounds of BTCC at Croft.
The server name will be Rossendale Racers and the password Clio2004 - if you fancied joining?
Make sure you search for all servers or else it will likely miss it. It did that to a mate of mine before he cleared out...
So, with regards to setting up a server for this - I had a random Xeon box lying about, doing nothing.
Formatted with Windows 10 Pro and loaded it with the Assetto Corsa Competizione server software - I've managed to get it working fine and without paying a penny for the service.
Happy to...
