I had an Abarth 500 Essesse before the Clio. As stock it went around Snetterton all day long without issues or brake fade (and was consistently quicker than a Clio Cup - though that could just be the driver :) ).

I'm already £1k in with servicing/belts/tyres etc. I think the depreciation on the 595 would be less! But I always wanted one of these, so I suppose I stop moaning and spend all my pay on it...
I had the same issue this weekend.
My 182 is on eibach spring and the standard 205/45/16 wheels, which I have two sets of.
The first set is on Rainsport 3s and has no issues at all
The second is on Pilot Sports and rubbed on the arches as soon as I put them on. Around Bedford Autodrome on...

I'm probably in the minority here, but I really dislike the stance of my 182 with the after market Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs
I believe these are lowered by 45-50mm on the Front, and by 30mm on the Rear
Anyway, aesthetic considerations aside, I'd like to replace these out for something...

Took the car to get new rear pads and and the brake fluid changed and bled.
The brake peddle now feels connected to the system and the car will slow with relatively little pressure on the peddle

To my title, I know the real 'value' in having the belts changed as per the service schedule is that they don't let go and ruin the engine, but how much monetary value does having the belts done add to the average Clio 182?
My scenario is as follows:
Scenario 1: Car is 04/05...
The MOT brake test results:
Front Left: 253
Front Right: 263
Rear Left: 109
Rear Right: 112
The guy in the MOT centre said all good, although advised the pads on the rears could do with changing before long.
Anyone see anything strange in the results?

@JB21 : I think the MOT brake tester is a good call. A garage local to me will do this for free
On the relation to the handbrake, am I right in assuming that the handbrake actuates the calipers to lock the wheels. If my handbrake works perfectly, then the calipers could not have seized?
