Mk3 Dynamique SX (non-sport) daily drive project

Subscribing to this thread as I have a Mk3 TCE100 with similar plans to yours. Although I have the estate version. Mine is mapped to 124bhp on stock injectors. Have changed from 16" to 15" wheels for comfort and cheaper tyres. Need to lower and space next, am looking at the Spax SSX kit myself...

Dropped the TCE off at the garage with a split boost pipe ?

Baby monitors and other baby stuff

Dad tip for OP: Baby vests and baby grows can be removed two ways - the normal way of unbuttoning the poppers between the legs then pulling the vest up and over the head..... or (and this blew my mind when I first realised haha) they can be unfolded at the shoulders and removed downwards over...

Baby monitors and other baby stuff

+1 for a white noise app, absolute godsend for getting them to sleep and then to stay asleep! Also, for nappies and wipes, try using the 'Bum Deal' app - it's a live price comparison app and has saved us loads with our two. We found having two moses baskets was useful (one upstairs, one...

What have you done to your car today ???

Not had any issues since fitting them in the Spring, but then again I'm driving a TCE not an RS so nowhere near as much power at the wheels and I don't try and drive it like it's an RS. If I disappear from the forum then you know what has happened - check the ditches around Coventry.

What have you done to your car today ???

Switched from summer (toyo proxes) to winter rubber (avon ice touring) - not that we ever get blizzards in the Midlands!

    Another Kangoo 182

Have there been any non-van conversions done? i.e. 5 seater Kangoo's? Every one I've seen has been a panel van conversion. I really like the idea of these but need more than 2 seats!

    Going for a remap...

My TCE 100 has been mapped to 124bhp for the last few months. Not a huge difference but definitely more driveable. MPG is slightly up too.

Does the 1.2 TCE 100 just have crap economy?

Fully aware I'm dragging up a 3 yr old thread but I'm getting a solid 38mpg from a remapped TCE100 in a Clio estate (6 mile commute each way to work, mix of city and country roads). Either I drive like a grandad or you definitely had problems with the Twingo....

What have you done to your car today ???

Fitted an oem sunglasses holder, Will be nice to know where my shades are at now instead of rooting round under seats after a bit of spirited driving.

    Remapped the TCE Estate today

Is it not the same engine in the Megane putting out 115bhp as standard?

    Remapped the TCE Estate today

Been away from CS for a number of years, forgot how much you can rely on this place to rain on your parade! ?

    Remapped the TCE Estate today

Nope, nothing along those lines. So assuming I've been sold a generic map and I can't obtain this graph from Wayside, where would you recommend in the Midlands I take it to get it done properly?

    say what now?

    Remapped the TCE Estate today

As said above I'm no expert but I think you could class it as custom as it was tweaked a few times to try and iron out some dips in the curve at higher revs. First time I've been anywhere like that so have nothing to gauge it against. They're a Ford and Vauxhall performance specialist. Lots of...

    Remapped the TCE Estate today

Paid a visit to Wayside Performance on the outskirts of Coventry today for a stage 1 remap on my Clio Tourer. Standard TCE 100 engine running Momentum 99 was rolling roaded at 108bhp prior to map. Surprised me as I was expecting a much lower figure. Don't know how big a pinch of salt to take...

Help - OEM alloy wheel ID needed

Hi all, anyone got a name for this style of alloy? Am after a set in 15" if possible.

Number plate bulb holder / light fitting

There are two lights on the boot door of my MK3 clio estate, on of them is constantly falling out as the clip has snapped on one side. I ordered some SMD LED light units advertised for a MK3 Megane, naively thinking that they'd be the same unit. They've arrived and although they look to be the...

New (old) member back in the game
