Spotted in Newent, seen it about previously, just around the corner from me

spotted a blue Clio 200 Gordini on the B4215 near Malswick towards Newent/Ross on wye

A little digging through the scrap pile saw me with enough bits to wrap up the boost hoses and breather pipe work. Just need the pressure reference for the n75 valve and we are good to go Pics in no particular order

Hoping for wider spread of power, also there are off the shelf upgrade turbos available. Id expect it to still tap out the standard HPFP, so will change that out and see what "fuel" is available on the dyno. Even if the turbo doesn't flow enough for big numbers (circa 320/330bhp on the meg 4?)...

It was 32 degrees today, I know lets work on the car........ Long gruelling day with the heat but the bulk of the work is done. I did need to bust out the angle grinder at one point but a decent enough job. Out with the OEM exhaust manifold and hybrid turbo and back in with the Meg 280 RS...

leak down test is done in the same way, plugs out?

Really you'll want a leak down test , unless there is a massive gouge in the cylinder wall I doubt you will see much.

mine getting mapped on the 26th so won't be ready, same question as above

There has been a change to the mapping date, its now sat the 26th, so that means i wont be on track at CSF. not a biggy as id rather not risk it. Will probably shoot over from the track to EFI and back.

If I go ahead with this, my hybrid setup would be available....

one thing to note with swapping the TCU, and for those that have mapped cars. The TCU is mapped alongside the ECU, mine is now limiting power/torque to 300nm. Ideally once its proven itself I need to get it in for a reflash (hopefully before CSF)

175 miles covered with no issues so far on the TCU, not beaten the previous best but going well. Also passed its MOT today, minor for a leak/stain on the the undertray which I think is residue from the brake fluid leak, will keep an eye on that though. Would thoroughly recommend Luke at ACG in...

Chatting with an Australian owner, heat causing tcm issues is common there. He had one replaced on warrantee last year! Shame Renault UK wouldn't entertain that at all. Anyway on to more tweaks, removed the rear hub and fitted up some pure motorsport shims. 1 degree camber and a .1 to toe it...
