UPDATE - The car is now listed on auction and with some more pictures. Low starting price and sensible reserve. Found its replacement so it could do with going. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191938114397

Up for sale because I've bought a motorbike and want to use the money for something else.
Would possibly take a part exchange, but something like a 172 worth about £1k.
Did have it in the classifieds about 6 weeks ago, but more detailed advert on eBay and a few more pictures...
Got a few too many cars and with my parents no longer living a few hundred miles away I don't quite have the need for a big comfy barge. Wife also wants something else, as she drives it mainly, so it's time for a change. eBay listing below...
Cheers but got a set organised. Have a bunch of parts I've bought together off one person.
Been out and cleaned the car this morning. First opportunity I've had. It's really cemented the fact that it could do with a full respray at some point. Not one major thing but when you take stone chips...
Arkham Knight for me. Not usually a COD fan but enjoyed Black Ops 3. FIFA is good but also mildly irritating. Seem to have a love/hate relationship with it.
Ha ha, there is a little on the n/s above the rear bumper but it doesn't look like loads. Sure that'll change when I come to put it right. Certainly hope that the 15" wheels suit it better, both for looks and how it drives.
Well I've made a start on turning it back to how it should be. Got rid of the terrible aftermarket accelerator pedal, just waiting for a pedal cover to arrive.
Managed to source a standard parcel shelf, a set of 15" steels, a standard steering wheel and the trim from under the bumper to...
Welcome to the forum. Personally I'd stay clear of cheap coilovers, fine for looks but not for track. As always with these I'd make sure the belts aren't due. Should see plenty for your budget around the forum though.
Sorry to hijack but I've got some of the Cup brake parts. Was going to do the same with mine before it caught fire. Have the MC and bias valve for sale, let me know if you're interested.
Hi,
Well, I've been without a Clio for a whole 9 months now after swapping the RB 182 Cup for a 225 F1. I've had a couple of 172's as well as the 182 and 225, but always had a Mk1 itch that I needed to scratch. Would love a Williams, but I don't have £5k to spare on one sadly. I've toyed with...
Well I've not updated this for a few months and plenty has happened.
172 - Well, put bluntly, it's dead. The cost to fix it was too much and it's been broken for parts. Most of it's sold now but a couple of parts remain. Sad times really but I wasn't spending approaching £1,500 on it.
182 -...
