Michelin are good ones. Avons are also pretty good spec. Depends what size tyres you want.
Always best to try the internet first. Garage prices on tyres are always a bit on the high side. Plus, if you buy off the internet and then take it to your local garage, they'll fit them for you for a...
No point calling AA, they do breakdowns and they'd charge over the odds. Take it down to a garage somewhere get them to check it out. Most places would do a free check.
Looking good matey.
Whereabouts in Nottingham are ya?!
I used to know someone who had an experimental way of trying to get the mark out of the steering wheel...if you still wanting to try and sort it I'll try and get hold of my contact.
Nice first car though matey, you've done well...
Bit of a sharp bend just before where it was turning, so when it came into view it was only a couple of yards in front of me. Just no time, I guess. There's never usually any trouble round there, so...nevermind.
Hoping to take some pics of the damage shrtly
Cheers guys.
Thank you for the messages and ideas, appreciate it. Although I don't think there was any CCTV around the area....can't remember what the lorry looked like, all happened too quick. I think it was yellow!
So...driving home on the A6 today from Matlock, came round a bend at 40 (below the peed limit might I add..) and I see a lorry in the middle of the road pulling into a pub. I slam on my brakes but I wouldn't have been able to stop in time, so I go to swerve around it, at which point the lorry...
Yeah, that makes sense for your situation. Go for the 172. They're nice cars, nice to drive and handle well. You have to make sure it's the right decision for you. I'm still in the phase of wanting a valver or a williams!
Shouldn't they be able to tell who's fault it would be through the damage on both vehicles. I mean, if there isn't any damage done to his van, but there's damage to the back end of your's, and in a pattern that would correspond, surely that would mean something??
But anyway, good luck with...
No worries, I didn't expect you to! lol...i'll look out for you. If you see some b**ch in a shed of a clio flash their lights at you while driving, assume it's me! lol.
Thought so! lol...
f**k it, some day I'm gonna wash it for him. He's had it in the garage for all weekend, the wheel bearings went on it. He's had a bit of trouble with it. To be honest, ever since it was wrote off he doesn't really care for it as much as he used to. He's forever working on it.
Okay, so when I get my RT into 2nd gear, it sometimes gives a little judder and then suddenly picks up memento. Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem, or knows what it might be?
I'm thinking there may be some sort of blockage somewhere, or just that the fuels not running as fast it...
Sorry to hear about that matey.
Woah! When I'd just passed, I was never that keen to get out of a junction with a car coming straight for me. Sunshine or not. Like blue said, didn't anyone tell her not to trust indicators?! Bloody hell mate, hope you get a big pay out for that!
Hope you and...
Yeah that's the one! M reg. He never gets the chance to though. Unfortunately.
Okay, weird question, but what's youre last name? Cause I'm pretty sure I have an idea who you are! lol
(by the way, I'm the sister of Pete_ban...I can't change the name and my brother signed up...long story!) Down Henley Way. So, literally just up the road from him. I've been admiring it for a while.
I have a mk1 ph1, in red. K reg, red. But it's a bit of a shed, I had an accident in it, so I...
