Swapped my 172 for a clio DCI, had my 172 for 3 1/2 years with no problems with the car. Really glad I bought one and had some good driving times in it. Sorry to see it go but buying a house is looming so need to save some money. Some pics attached ...

na don't really keep anything in the car, just an inconvenience now trying to get it sorted. no damage to the paint which is the only good thing to come out of it.

THe problem he's having is that the central locking is not locking/unlocking when he's pushing the button on the key fob. He's tried the spare key and that's not working either. The central locking is working when he opens the door with the actual key and when the button on the dash is pushed...

Can i just say nothing to do with me just something I saw on another site.

My mate has just got a 172 and has been offered a set of 17's off a Seat Arosa. Is the offset the same? Never been able to understand offset on the few occasions someone has tried to explain:o

Yep mine and Tims were all over the plae when we had them done also to Westec last weekend. Good results there got to be happy with them.

matt__f I was even more worried after Tim came out with a graph of 186bhp as they were putting mine on:S Was happy with my results and to say Tim had a smile on his face would be a little understatement:D

As Tim says it was a good day, mine came out with a first run of 171.23bhp and 146.8ft/lb. Second run was 172.29bhp and 149.5ft/lb. Will have to pop back down there after I've had the inlet done and it remapped to see what extra has been gained.

I noticed after I finished work earlier that there was water leaking from my car and it looks to be coming from the passanger side headlight washer. Is there a common thing to look for or not? Will be having a look tomorrow when it gets light would just like any help if poss thanks.

I would have thought it is just a case of changing the wing but have got no experience with the MK1 clio what-so-ever (never even sat in one:o )

My sisters boyfriend has bought his first car a K plate 1.2. The car has had a slight bump on the wing which needs replacing. He has been offered a MK1 phase3 car cheap as the driveshaft has snapped. Would he be able to swap the front end to his or is this not possible? Quick response required...

I have just noticed that the lower front bumper grill is broke on my 172. It has snapped along the corner so needs replaceing. Does anyone know the price and part number for this. Thanks.
