Wheels are in the pipeline. MOT tomorrow so "s**t's gonna get real" after that.
As some may know I bought a V6 Audi A4 at the arse end of last year.
Was umming and ahhing about hitting it with the lowering stick. After I had everything sorted mechanical wise to a point where I was happy I decided to make a cheeky offer on some Raceland coils.
Arrived on Wednesday, 19...
A band who a couple of friends are member of. Last time I went to see them they were on about getting some good pictures taken at their next gig so I offered my services as it were, even though it was my first time doing this sort of thing.
Also it was a good opportunity to try out my newly...
I'm going to be lookin at a BMW shed tomorrow, but it's cheap enough and also looks solid behind the rusty edges.
Obviously I need to insure it but I'm also keeping the Lolver. So what's the best way of going about it?
Try to get both cars on the same policy? Another policy where I pay...
Not been able to do much photgraphy in the last month or so due to lack of car and then lack of funds to get me anywhere.
But I decided yesterday to go to Exmoor to do something that I've wanted to do for quite a while:
Bridge at Withypool.
The 'Wedge' as I know you all love it. ;)
Had annual mileage set to 5k back in May which is usually plenty. But this year...well...no. :o
So I need to get it changed.
Anyone done this having to pay silly money? A mate said he only paid the admin fee so about £25. Just had MOT done so I'm not exactly loaded at the minute. Lol.
I'm...
I was quoted £50 by my local independent camera shop to clean the sensor on my DSLR. Not knowing what they’d use or who’d being doing it, I’d rather do it myself and know I’d make a good job taking care during the process. I also saved £15 by buying this kit.
I decided to go with the LensPen...
It's just a little bit rubbish.
Started like this:
Currently like this, sort of. I've just finished doing the drivers side corner:
And my freshly sprayed bonnet badge, at least 10 coats gone in to it.
Was behind this yesterday at the lights at the top of town. Was a lass driving.
Had the latest ClioSport URL sticker in the bottom of the back window so assume it's still someones on here.
Anyone?
Currently cant afford new tyres all round for the 15's so I've stuck the old dealer option 13's back on for a month or so whilst I refurb them.
'low' profile (for 13's anyway) tyres too.
It scrapes everywhere! :D
And yes I know there's no wing mirror, it's for aerodynamics.... honest. :o
The last thread was made in haste of excitement, and as it was nice today I went on the prawl for some photography locations.
And the quirky extra.
Built my new speaker baffles a few days back. They're quite meaty, most people use 18mm MDF but mine are.... 39mm!
Still deciding weither to paint them primer grey or cover them in silver duct tape.
Well after cleaning the TDC sensor and ICV, my car's no longer stalling or hunting at idle! :D
But now my car revs a bit high, I know this is because I tinkered with the idle adjustment screw a while ago so now the ICV is working it's doing the opposite.
Does anyone know how to correctly...
100% oxygen-free copper core. Now that's what you call power cable. ;)
16 feet of the stuff. Don't ask me how I'm going to route it through my car. Seems like an all-interior-out job to me. :o
