yes but is it the correct plugs? 1.2 16v and 1.2 16v TCE are different.
once plugs and coil pack/leads are ruled out id be looking at injectors, thermostat and upstream lambda
Every ph2 1.2 16v I've ever seen was 58mm.
My ph1 1.2 16v had 52mm, but they use the same smaller front brakes as the 1.2 8v (but the discs are vented) which also runs 52mm hubs
its generally always the switch on them, every one ive owned has had a failed boot switch, they are cheap to change. You can open it from the inside if you climb into the boot from the back seats and flick the latch with a screwdriver
as above, 2.0 16v is the best way to go, not a lot of power to be had from the 1.6 realistically. Yes people will tell you the Super1600 cars are based on the same engine with 220bhp but there's very little left over from the original engine. 172/182 engines are getting expensive now and the...
Think i need to add a V6  There's been a lot more but an example of each variant. all have had pros and cons, MK2s are simple and relatively cheap to maintain, MK3s are not. Excluding that reason im not sure id ever choose a MK2 RS over a MK3 RS! - MK4 was for me the best out of the Clio...
Talk about rose tinted glasses, I stay off the Facebook groups as it's full of mongs "not like the good old days on the forum"
Turns out we were just as bad 😂
As above rust was an issue at the base of the windscreen where improper fitted windscreens rubbed and caused premature rust, most were repaired under the 12yr anti corrosion warranty however, my mate for his done with 3 days left on it, and they even replaced the replica cup spoiler with a...
yes the cheap Brembo pads sold by everyone like ECP now are just cheap Chinese pads where they have licenced the Brembo name to sell them.
Mintex M1144 have always been my go to pads for a fast road Clio, i believe they have have been replaced with something newer but I've not researched it
Summers here so she's back out! Going for an MOT next week then once that's done I've got a set of dci 100 rear stubs/calipers etc to fit rear discs.
The pioneer head unit had died, it had got wet last winter when the centre scuttle drain blocked and has been a little temperamental since...
My 9 year old is obsessed with space and wanted a telescope so got her one, it's got an attachment for your phone so we had a play!
Missed a great opportunity, we had the phone set to 5 seconds timer to remove any shake from pressing the screen and as the counter counted down...
Ive never driven a mk2 on brembos but i always found the 197/200 on standard pads was good but a mk2 on the standard setup with a hotter pad like the M1144 would easily out brake it.
My current 197 has standard discs and M1144's and its sensational on the brakes on the road, especially with a...
"using oil while running in" is basically saying, f**k off for 6 months so when you come back we can claim the engine hasnt been treated properly for the last 6 months, not our issue.
The F4R does not use oil, i must have had almost 20 of them and the only one i had that used oil is sitting on...
my 197 has 4yr old PS4s on it and they are goosed! fit for the bin, plenty tread left. tyres would be going in the bin.
discs probably ok but given the price of a new pair id be sticking a new pair on as the discs will still be pitted and a bit s**t
as above send the UCH away, i had a faulty one that i got away for 6 months every time it played up by unplugging it and then re connecting it, it never lasts
Unfortunately while giving this a wash, a chunk of paint chipped off the passengers door, looks like water has been getting down the back of it possibly. Kinda made me fall out of love with it so I've stuck it on eBay (along with my mk1 Audi TT that I've not touched in years!) and choose to just...
I really like the PS3 in that size, I've used a Goodyear efficientgrip or something like that that was actually really good on something lower powered.
I've got Hankook ventus prime 3 in 195/50/15 and 195/45/16 on 2 different sets of wheels, the 15" ones are fantastic, the 16" ones dangerous...
i use a £20 15m one from Amazon, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CZ3K3T79/?tag=cliospnet01-21
Had one it lasted about 3 years and recently burst so ive just replaced it with another one, its perfect, my K4 is plumbed into the garage, high pressure hose drilled thru the garage wall, so all i do is...
I believe the facelift cars got the same gearbox/software as the trophy so much faster shifts on the paddles. I had a trophy and loved the box, i can understand how a slower shifting one would leave you feeling a little disconnected though!
Facelift cars also got LED headlights which would be a...
The boy doing a flex standing in front of all the pay phones on his mobile phone 😂
I remember being about 10yr old and my mate who's dad had company cars going from a vauxhall omega LS to a vauxhall Omega Elite, it was all my mate banged on about for weeks and it must have been because that's...
There's a full series of these, the one with the young guys in the rep mobiles is hilarious, they are all absolutely obsessed with badging S, LS, GL, GLI, SRI, GSI, hilarious
