Finally out of hibernation last week as I sold the Jay-Cup a.k.a the fun-vee. First clean of the year and had a quick tinker, changed the dash for non sticky central console along with hazard switch panel and stereo. Turini's look really good when they are clean. Forgotten how well they drive...
Fitted new radiator to cup number 2, as you can see well off its best, probably the original one it was a Valeo rad. Had the new radiator for a while and wanted to do the change out in better weather. No pics of it finished yet as I'm waiting on type D coolant and a thermostat to replace out...
I had a family holiday to Italy last week and managed to seek in the Ferrari museum Modena. Seen loads of fezza's but this was one of the more rarer ones. Sadly no F40's although they had the F40 engine on display
I think the difference you are feeling id due to slightly less back pressure from the larger diameter of the exhaust tubing. Means it will feel more responsive and rev slightly quicker, whether that translates into more power I dont htink it will.
I had some xm3a's in black a while back and really rate them. The ones I had were clio fitment so 60.1 bore and et38 and were 6.5kg per wheel. I had them in matt black and think they were alittle lost due to colour and always looked dirty. I would buy them again in silver if there was a group...
I’m losing my storage space for my cup and with lack of use I'm thinking of selling. Tried to keep the car close to OEM with the exception of Ktec stealth exhaust, xenon headlights, non OEM catalytic converter and Eibach Sportline springs. I have the original lights, OEM cup springs and cat to...
@MrBlonde
I contacted support@bilstein-shocks.co.uk on one of their online web request form things when I saw a cheap kit on ebay back in Dec 2022, and got the following reply:
They are based in Leicester, hope that is of some use to you...
Had mine done recently and it was a quick turnaround, good coms from Andy as great craftsmanship as usual. Just so you know he's still knocking them out decent. Need to give my airbag a good clean tho.
Possibly the last clean of the year. 70K miles, standard apart from Xenon headlights and Ktec Stealth exhaust. On original Cup springs looks a bit 4x4 but such an nice ride! I've toyed with the idea of selling but will most likely get tucked away till next Spring.
Thanks for posting, I don't have IG and it's aways good to see the progress you are making. It had gone quiet for a bit so I got a little worried, Car looks AMAZING!
Get yourself a playseat challenge, its a bit flimsy like the one above but comfy like a deckchair. I had the playseat evo which was more solid but it just took up too much space and got annoyed with the middle bar blocking the pedals. Will be loads of cheap playseat challenge's on FB / Ebay...
First attempt of a horn blanking plate from my 3D printing guy. I've got a ph1 horn stalk so don't need the middle button. Cannot decide on whether to have it plain or have an engraved motif design added. The steering wheel has a brushed metal effect.
I think gloss black would look better than matt black. However, I agree that you loose the wheel due to them being so dark and the tyres will look dirty in comparison. Mine are the original matt black you can buy from Evo Corse.
