Yeah wanted to do silverstone but money is tight as I'm getting married in august. Would of been good to see your wicked green 200 dazbav. Will get back on track when the money comes back in plus I'm saving for ITB's
Quality time, only found out bout it last minute though which is why I had to nick off early. Good of done going for a drive round there cuz the roads are brilliant, that's why it's a bikers pub.
My oil wasnt low i always check it before track days. Apparently according to edward at EJM he reckons its rockingham that does it because its a backwards track. He had run his clio race car without a baffled sump until he started to do rockingham and then he started getting oil surge. The pump...
yeah i'm from coventry so have been mallory a few times so i know what you mean. that massive left in the infield at rockingham does the same. Had the warning light just flicker on around there. More people should be warned of this problem, one of the guys off redline magazine had his nissan...
yeah edward is a top bloke and knows his stuff. My car was also getting a lightened fly wheel and uprated clutch and polybush all round and he did my big end that had gone due to the oil surge. Had ARP conrod bolts put in while it was all out to. Should be sweet when i pick it up tomorrow. I...
lateral G's forcing the oil to one side of the sump so then the oil pump is starved which isnt a good thing. Only happens on race tracks though and only if you car handles well
EJM PREPARATION tel 01789763150 mob 07766217622 in Alcester in warwickshire
love reading your build incidently, wish a had 2 cars so i could have a full track **** like this, i'm picking my car up tomorrow so i'm proper excited
My car is with EJM preparation at the momment having a quaiffe LSD fitted, my car suffered from oil surge on track because i'm using R888's so they are fitting me a baffled sump. Its not a common mod to do and people dont think about it until its too late. Give them a ring
can anyone lend me a tow eye for a 182 at the FCS please? I somehow left mine on after brands hatch and it got nicked outside my house!!! I Have ordered an OMP one and hope to do the conversion on saturday if it gets here on time so fingers crossed. Had to do mallory park last week without one...
wont be able to get missus out of bed for that time i'm afraid. LOL...Dont need to get there that early myself because i have a pit garage plus my carbon lorraine brake pads have wrecked my paint work and wheels due to not washing my car straight after trackdays so wont be showing it off...
wow thats all a bit early isnt it, its only 43 miles from coventry so it should take you less than an hour to get there. Nothing really starts happening until about 9ish!
i get between 26-28 mpg but i never hang about and once warm it gets a sufficient thrashing, guess i'm paying the price for a good time but its sooo worth in imo. 35-40 on a long run though!
yeah that was me by the gates waiting to be picked up, had to wait 45 minutes for the rac to arrive and then anotherv 1hour 45 for the tow truck. Years playing gran turismo and forza had definately paid off, LOL.... prior to that had only been on track twice before, a full day at donington and...
yeah that was my girlfiend, got my bearing today but cant get it fitted until tomorrow though. Will all be fighting fit oulton in 2 weeks..... definately.
this is me nearly crashing at cadwell park. the crash happens at 6:15 if you cant be bothered to watch. lucky recovery me thinks.... or skill? LOL. suffered a rear bearing go after this but it didnt become apparent until alot later so only lost out on the last hour and 20 mins. still had to get...
