cadwell near crash video

this is me nearly crashing at cadwell park. the crash happens at 6:15 if you cant be bothered to watch. lucky recovery me thinks.... or skill? LOL. suffered a rear bearing go after this but it didnt become apparent until alot later so only lost out on the last hour and 20 mins. still had to get towed 109miles back to coventry

Fuuuuuukin hell!!! Could have been a lot worse!! Did you lift mid corner? Have no sounds at work..

Did you have track insurance?

yeah that was my girlfiend, got my bearing today but cant get it fitted until tomorrow though. Will all be fighting fit oulton in 2 weeks..... definately.
 
yeah i did cack my pants.... but no 2 much... assessed the damage and went back out chasing nez in his megane with my missus in the passenger seat.
 
Was it you sat by the gate waiting for the recovery truck to turn up? Black prorace wheels? RS trackday just gone?
 
Try doing that on a the M20... on ice... yer it scary but i was gd enough to get my self out of that one... "ps2/Xbox360" pays off lol
 
yeah that was me by the gates waiting to be picked up, had to wait 45 minutes for the rac to arrive and then anotherv 1hour 45 for the tow truck. Years playing gran turismo and forza had definately paid off, LOL.... prior to that had only been on track twice before, a full day at donington and 30mins at the french car show. Had tuition at donington and cadwell.
 
lucky could of been far worse once the rear wheel touches grass like that you rarely get away without losing it, ive yet to go on a trackday though i have my mind set on cadwell first if i do go
 
Someone stacked a Trophy at the Renaultsport track day last year in exactly the same place. They hit the barrier on the left though.
