Hi, been looking at these myself, not sure if i like the new shape leon as much as the FRs in the older models. I have'nt yet driven one but looking to do so soon, and from what ive heard about the cupra, sounds nice.
Thanks mate, glad you agree.
Think you are right about the splitter, im looking into getting one, if anyone hears of one for sale, not too far from devon, would appreciate a pm.
cheers, Mills.
Well, must admit this photo aint a good angle of mine, its standard height because the wheels are the same size as the 182 ones, but i am thinkin to lower it.
...in my defence i think the tooras are a much nicer wheel than the 182 factory fits, looks much better in the flesh.
Re: South West Meet Pics - 05/02/06
Good pics chaps, it was a very good meet, good to see some familiar faces and some new ones, also some nice motors
.........and i think the image of freebone in that thong will be one hard to forget!!
The paint code is usually printed on a sticker or plate, which on my car is located on the left side of the driver door sill. There are several codes printed there, it will tell you which are which in the manual...if you have it.
Thanx mate, yeh definately another option to consider, i dont really like the idea of the car being higher off the ground.......unless i go 17s and lower it.
Hopefully be at weston, cheers.
Im thinking of getting some new alloys for my 182, they will have to be 17" i think, but not sure what style to go for? Defo not multi-spoke, they take too long to clean! I do like 5, 6, 7, spoke.
Any recomendations on what looks good on a 182?
Great pics guys....... almost wish i had stayed for the drive about, still a good meet though.
Good to see you lot, and some new people.
It would be good to see some of you guys at north devon sometime, meet up with Tucks and myself.
Thanks, Mills.
Ok, well think i will be visiting Halfords for a replacment aresol, to be on the safe side.
Ive just had a puncture, but in the inner sidewall, so ive had to order a new tyre..... Michelin pilot 205 40 R16, 88quid plus vat.... about 100quid, i thought that was bad enough. It had lots of tread...
So once you have used the foam, you need to get a new tyre?
How long can you drive with the foamed tyre?
Any ideas how much the aresols are from renault?
Thanx for the info.
Just wandering if anyone has used their puncture repair kit?
You know, the one that doesnt include a spare wheel!
Is it just me, or does anyone else not like this idea? It involves injecting the tire with an aresol which should seal the hole temporally, until you have it repaired i take it...
Clarkiev6,
where are you based?.... do you work for a renault dealer?
Im not ready for the 12k service yet, but im in north Devon and will probably
be shoppin around when the time comes.
Mills.
Stereos in..... and pumpin!
Went to see a specialist at my local Halfords, turns out one of the pins/wires was in the wrong place to connect with the one on the head unit.
5 mins and it was done, he reckoned it may have been manufacturers mistake.
........and he charged me nout!
Its a panasonic cq-dfx701 if that means anything to you.
Think i will have it looked at, if its not the head unit, i must need some sort of adaptor/connector between the ISO plugs, it cant really be anything else.
Do you think its worth asking in Halfords, they are normally pretty good.
