    Not a sausage if you turn it up. Could well be that the amp has packed up. Don't suppose anyone knows of someone who's got an aftermarket HU and wants to sell their original HU? I'm selling the car in a couple of months time as i'm leaving the country and want to sell it as standard...

    I've checked all the wires on the back - all seem okay. The unit is working exactly as before, just no sound. Its taking CD's, changing tracks, the CD changer is working normally too. Bloody thing!!

    Can anybody help? My standard 172 CD stereo has suddenly stopped making a sound on all sources. All the lights come on the display and the cd changer makes all the normal noises - no sound from the speakers though. Anyone had similar problems? Got any ideas?

    I've just had a powerflow exhaust fitted this monday. As it was custom made they gave me the option of how loud i wanted it. I wanted it slightly louded than std as i do a lot of motorway miles, so they put a middle box after the cat and then a single box with twin pipes at the back. Noise...

    I just went up to the parts desk and had a look on his computer with bloke who worked there. It's dead easy to take out beforehand and bring into the dealer with you. One multiplug for the wiring and the sensor just clips into place...

    Had this problem on my 172. It is the air con temp sensor which has a little fan in it. Its gets clogged up and starts buzzing. A new one from Renault dealer parts depart was around a tenner and took about 5 mins to un plug and put the new one in - no noise now...
