Love this thread already. My very first car was a 1.2 16v Billabong minus the climate control. Also brilliant it has been kept in the family for so long. Look forward to keeping up to date on this one.

Red 200 Must have been around 7pm. I was behind you when you beeped at the cyclist 😅 to be fair terrible road to cycle on when the pavement exists.

Not a huge amount to report @Martin_172 . I met @Stu. from Renomotive. What a set up. So I picked up a rear boot lock, door handles and a dashboard. I'm putting the one from this car onto my V6 then the one from Stu onto this. The one on V6 was just way to sticky, think it's the cleaning...

I'm not sure. I bought my first Clio with the exhaust and coilovers plus that sound system. Loved it!

I'd think so. Obviously ill to assume but I think it has been very well looked after. The belts look fresh, not a 20 year old belt surely. Good battery in it, filter looks good. Just a shame no service book probably lying in a drawer somewhere destined for the bin. Any thoughts on looking...

Thanks that is useful to know. Not related but do you have any of the following. This generation of alloys for a Ph1, think the ones on the Si are called Stella alloys. Black, standard spoiler Boot lid handle/switch Door handles Or anyone else that may have these things :)

Few more photos today until it started chucking it down, again. Only issues I have come across is that it can be hesitant to start from cold, either cuts out or doesn't sound like it's firing on all cylinders, couple of seconds later it kicks into life. Bloody locking wheel nuts are not coming...

Can anybody help, I was looking at removing the alloys on a Clio which I just got but have not seen these locking wheel bolts before. Although the attachment connects okay once trying to remove it keeps slipping. Same on both front wheels, assume the same on the back.

So they are. I thought they were 15's. Spare one in the boot along with a unused tool kit and steel wheel. I did wonder about the spoiler and front fogs. Going to try and do some digging. Does anyone know if Renault keep history records? The plate and one owner is on the V5. Maybe passed...

Hi all Any thoughts welcome. I went to view a little red Clio, phase 1 model 1.4 Si. It's only done 24,000 miles and it's honestly mint. One owner from new but no service history. Guy was very honest said it was going to be scrapped but he tidied it up so obviously some decent profit in it...

Spotted 30 mins ago, or so. Not seen one in ages! Didn't get the plate.
