Any1 had trouble with 182 transmission. Mines making a knockin when starting off, fine when driving though and only seems to do it when the cars been standing for a few minutes. Any ideas???

Just wandering if any1 has any thoughts on running in a new 182. Mines done 300mile now and I was thinkin of takin it easy up to the first 1000miles, but a friend who works as a Renault mechanic reckons they dont need any special teatment when new and to give it a good thrashing. Seems harsh to me!!
