    Silver 197 - Newton Abbot

    Spotted yesterday (2nd Feb) at the Penn Inn Roundabout. Pulled up next to it at the lights coming off the A380. It went off towards Milber but did not get a chance to see if it had a CS sticker.

    Wing Mirror Wires

    Someone decided to knock the wing mirror while I parked up at the weekend :mad: . The glass bit has come out but it looks fine and so just seems I have to clip it back on. There are though two electrical connections on the back of the glass and two wires (brown and orange) which I have to plug...

    172 Cup @ Staples, Torquay

    172 cup in the Staples carpark Torquay. Had a large Cliosport sticker in the back Window and JL Audio in the front. Looked like it also had a rollacge. Also using two spaces to stop parking dings.

    Trip Computer

    When the petrol light came on the other day I was not worried as the trip computer said I had only used 9 gallons of petrol of a full tank. Loads left I thought so just kept on driving for another @30 miles till I had used 9.9 gallons. Then I thought I would check it using the dash test thing...

    Spotted at 9am in car park by Torquay library. **06 VRW. Also noticed they parked in the very end spot and all the way over to the edge of bay to try and avoid door dents.

    172 Passenger Seat Not Locking

    The passenger seat on my MK2 172 is not locking in place. So it is just sliding about which is very annoying. Every time you come to a stop it wants to slide to the end of the rails which means I keep having to grab it. Anybody have any idea how to fix this?

    Rear Shock Absorber

    Noticed some oil on the garage floor so took a look under the car. At the rear of the car there is a part covered in oil which is right next to the suspension coil. I assume this is the rear shock absorber and it looks buggered. :mad: Its a 52 reg Mk2 172 which does have an extended renault...
