Well, i know the gasket needs replacing and i tried to do it once on ramps in a garage. Got the driver's side bolt undone working from under the car. I moved onto the next bolt and couldn't get to it without a 'wobbly' adapter to put on the ratchet's extension bar, and as a result, i...

the zorst has to be heated, so you wont get any proper pops or flames for a good 10-15 mins. get into 2nd gear and go along getting the revs up to about 6k, let off the gas but keep it in second, when it gets to about 5000-5500 rpm, tap the accelerator and you will get a pop, and if ur lucky...

Wash with Autoglym shampoo conditioner (got it cheap) using halfords wool mitt.

fronts are 259mm vented discs, rears are smaller solid ones. im not sure on the exact diameter for rears.
does anyone know if you can put 172/182 discs onto a valver? or is there not alot of difference and not worth worrying about

i find if the back is about 2psi higher, it handles alot better, much less understeer, but the back doesn't step out either.
I run 30 rear 28 front on the roads and roundabouts ;)
my mate's astra sxi has just had the belt slip and he needed 16 vlaves, 8 inlet valves, new belt and new cam head :O Was quoted £1750 from vauxhall!!
