    lol aren't they standard on all 172s and up? Do they noticeably change speed when the rain gets heavier? Like no longer intermittent...

    Thanks for your reply. The wipers don't change speed at all unless I turn the dial up or down. When they are on the normal setting they slow down when I'm stopped. cheers.

    I'm not sure if my rain sensing wipers are working correctly. I switch them to the intermittent position as per the manual and all they do is remain at the same wipe interval. I would think they should speed up or slow down or stop depending on the amount of water on the windscreen. Is this right?
