what about uprated for a 16V? Apparently the K-Tec mk2 will fit a mk1 with a different bracket from renault? Any idea on a part number for this bracket? Ta.

how much effort is it to drop a GTT in a 16V? Almost bought a conversion but i fancy doing the change myself.. are we talking same engine mounts? ive not actually stared at a GT lump so i cant picture the swap.. any info appreciated. Cheers guys!

well found out what the problem was. Passenger headlight there is a main earth that uses a 13mm headed bolt to ground back into the chasis. This earth is used for all electrics such as headlights, sidelights, indicators, fogs and wipers and the f**ker had broke, replaced it with a bit of audio...

any ideas how many earths there are for the forward part of the loom and do you think running a fresh one into the loom would cure the issue or would i need to locate the burnt wire and replace? Cheers.

apparently these things blow the injectors after a while especially if you crack the pressure right up to like 4bar. causes the injectors to leak causing sky high emissions. Lets all bear in mind that NO WHERE reports these as power increase tuning items, FSE report next to no power increase <1...

The question being... Is there a prefered method to taking the rack out or is it a pants down subframe out type jobby..

yeh 17's and at a guess i reckon its dropped about 50mm. Im not 100% sure as it was dropped when i bought it but it was on some 15's (looked low as f00k) wheres the best place to measure the ride height? Bottom of the sill or bottom of the hub? Cheers.
