    Hello, what would cause big end bearings to fail on an 2000 172 engine, at 30k? Is this a known problem with this engine? What would be the likley damage and what will it cost to fix!? any info/help would be muchos appreciated! :star:

    cheers for u coments guys :) yes the standard lump is very easy to tune, and if looked after, reliable! but i want to give this a go as i am also looking to do a turbo convertion on the 16v lump, which should see some nice power :evil: i live in stockport :) the vag 1.8t is a nice engine...

    Hi guys, im in the proccess of doing R5 gt turbo 16v conv, i need a 1.8/2.0 (williams) engine ecu and loom from a clio r19 or megan, ive posted a wanted but if anyone has one let give me a shout rikki@printandsign.com heres my 5 at the mo! 172@16psi
