    V6 Front Calipers on a 172..?

Well wheel clearance wont be a problem when 18s are fitted to it.. Sick of all these sheep stickin Turini's on their motors (1 does it, they all follow). And as for the standard brakes being up to the job, that all depends on how you drive.. Fast road use and possible track use will be looking...

    new old install

Wheres the amp located? Below that false floor? Ive seen that sub before, but like as subs, it can sound sh!te if the amp isnt of decent qualtiy, if your running a crap HU, or even using cheap wires, not to mention the sub housing not being too well consructed..

    Interior styling

Real old pic of my door card, smoothed and sprayed the same colour as the car, with Polk MOMO components fitted (illuminated with LEDs, wired from the interior light), and the cloth panel retrimmed with blue leather to match the seats: Smoothed dash, sprayed to match the exterior too, with...

    Ma Clio first pics

Talcum powder..? Looks more like a litre bottle of AutoGlym's finest Super Resin Polish.. TIESTO plate is class.. What are the plans for it? Not much you can do to a 1.2 (experience talking), unless your looking to go all plastic fantastic on it, which would have us all yelling "HELL NO!!!"

    V6 Front Calipers on a 172..?

Define NOT POSSIBLE...? I've seen RB26DETT Skyline engines in Toyota Corolla Twin-Cams... I've seen a Clio with 2 1100cc Blackbird engines in the back of it powering the rear wheels.. AHell, ive even seen a nitrous and a turbo on a motorbike.. lol Could you elaborate on that a bit for me...

    amp problems

Internal Amp fuse perhaps? Had that stump me once on a Kenwood.. Failing that, then put an in-line fuse on the power lead to the amp (common sense says so, more than anything).

A sheet of Perspex with decent sized holes in it would look well AND protect the sub alot more.. Maybe even a wee light behind it to illuminate it too...? Looks ok as it is.. Wheres the amp though?

Anyone Ever Seen A Sub Enclosure Like This...

looks arent everything when it comes to getting crystal clear sound quality, and when using a Type R sub, i would guess thats what your after... Those enclosures have been about for a while now, and from what i gather, have only made positive impacts on the SQ boys, both in and out of...

    Samsung R700 Aura

Vista really IS a flaw... Been using it since before Christmas, and its still a pain in the rear end to use.. Security checks for everything, too much loading, not as handy as Xp etc etc.. Damn nice laptop for the money (Y)

    Amp question

Are you looking at expanding your sound system?
  15. S

    Amp question

What he said ^^^^^^ The reason Monoblock / 1-channel amps are the most expensive is that they are designed to power subwoofers which are either require serious power, or require top quality sound input to run... 2-channel are the cheapest as they arethe easiest/most produced, and run just...

    Max Power live 2007

6-8th of July.. Same Venue, same variety of shows/cars/females/sound offs etc etc.. In the process of organising a coach for a load of us to go across the water to attend a show this year, and this might be the 1 :)

any 1 wanna fit my 6x9s

Because 6x9s arent worth their weight in sh1te, regardless of how much you spent on them.. As said, buy a set of co-axials for the rear quarters, and fit a sub in the boot, while running a good set of components up front to supply the mids/highs..

    Lexus lights yes or no?

Its a matter of "Personal" taste, so if you like them, and they suit the car, then YES... Just my 2cents :D

    lowering

Alternatively, go for Coil-overs and wind them down... Better handling, and the option of height/dampening adjustment too.. In saying that, mine is down about 80mm on 18s, and theres no scrubbing at all from it, yet it sticks to the road like sh1te to a balanket ;)

    Show us your car colour!!!!

Well ya see, the thing is, those aint your run of the mill Halfords £20 mirrors.. If ya knew your M3s, you'd know they are from an E30 Mattig Edition, as opposed to the E36 M3 jobbies... As for the vent... Its needed ;) Keep jogging..

    Show us your car colour!!!!

A certain blue paint, with a finishing layer of Arctic Sunrise (cant really notice the AS in that pic, but it turns a greeny/goldy colour with blue lights reflecting on the car.. Will get night shots when i get to grips with my new camera :D )

    Smooth Clio

Tidy... Would change the rims to something other than "chrome", and same for the mirrors tho..

What to use to bond on a spoiler

SikaFlex or TigerSeal.. As said, you will need a mastic gun to apply either.. If you do happen to get a bit on the bodywork, dont panic, and dont go rubbing it.. Leave it for a while until it gets tacky, then wipe it off using a cloth with petrol on it..

    my install!

Im only after installing 2 MRD amps and 2 10" Type-X subs into the boot of an Audi A4, along with SPX components and a further Alpine amp, so i must have a slight clue about them, dont ya think? When i suggested external fans, i knew exactly what i was saying.. The fans that are built into...

Cleand the Car and Change of Life

I wouldnt even give him the chance to brick my car... Would be straight at him with the first thing to hand.. People dont seem to understand what a man's car means to him.. Nice 182 all the same :D
  30. S

    my install!

How on earth do the Amps not blow up..? Have you fans feeding cold air around them? Wiring is a mess too.. Should all be tidied up, and seperated, as static from the cables can cause the amps to do silly things, and distort the speakers.. 2 x 12" boxes just threw into the boot of any car...
