    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

You’re some weird ass car enthusiast Fil. Like… this post could be ‘my neighbour has some serious old school cool metal’. Hell, maybe even go over and talk to him? Instead you’re sat online, seemingly put out by his actions, looking at the window of your overly loud Ford Focus feeling like...

The 'I work in I.T' thread

Had it recently, and exceptionally unsurprisingly, got an offer of 20% up. 20% is generally considered what it takes for someone to jump. Got 20% match where I am and stayed, and they’ve asked me for another chat. I wonder if they’re just going to go 20% again. I think it’s a lose lose for...

The 'I work in I.T' thread

Being very honest, there’s probably not a lack of candidates in general, but a lack of candidates that even bother with your advert. It’s one step away from ‘salary negotiable’ and then asking the candidate what they currently earn when in the room. There’s not even a salary range ffs!

To the left On a map The. Left. So your home is situated in four different places, and this is entirely dependent upon in which orientation you’re holding this map?

    Recommend me some Headphones

I lost my in ear jabras, so decided to unbox my ‘free’ ones that I was sent due to a fault. Haven’t used them yet, but they’re supposed to be super resilient: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0D49V9J99/?tag=cliospnet01-21 Will report back

    Best android tag recommendations please

If you dropped them, the phone would know the last time it was connected to them, so you could backtrack, or you can with an AirTag so I assume it’s the same. The AirTag also just jumps on anyone with an iPhone, so if they’re in a park near the path and someone walks past with an iPhone it’ll...

    The Dog Kennel

This is Dave. It’s going to be done with a timber ramshackle A-frame and a pallet. We both know it, but I do commend you trying to drag him towards a high quality installation.

    Small scale website cost

My mate is an ex web dev/current web designer. He mentioned recently a ‘build it yourself’ type function that is amazing (in his opinion). I’ll ask him what it was

    A Rather Pleasant Evening...

Looks fantastic @SharkyUK , car looks incredible too. I really do love it. I thought the same, and I’m now just sat wondering if we could make a new word… like one for a car meet where we don’t want ‘any of your type’? Just those like the above. It’d have to be a good and proper Tory name...

Want a second hand barely used one for just such a duty? I bought one for Berlin, hasn’t come out of the box since I moved home.

Has anyone rattle canned their front bumper?

I was gonna say, by the time you’ve bought all this you’ll save yourself about £60 and not be that happy with it. Having spent 15 hours f**king around. A mighty £4 an hour!

Only buy 2k. Or I genuinely wouldn’t bother

Motor bike wheel restoration. Water marks…

The 'I work in I.T' thread

The moment people started creating multiple ways to save/share files in windows it all went down hill. Sharepoint OneDrive Teams ‘files’ f**k. Sake. The worst is when you’ve got a proper job folder setup in sharepoint and some mutant creates a ‘teams site’ for collaboration. Die.

That looks like brilliant fun! As you say, the long gearing makes driving the 2.7 quite good fun, you really get to wring its neck. My mate that’s used to 4cyl turbos couldn’t believe the revvy-ness when he came out in mine last week.
