Nice!!!!!! Daily drive, good luck with that. Although it should have had most of the problems ironed out by now. The 450 is a great version, had a play in a 500 not long ago when trying to decide what motor to go for next. That was rapid, and lots of TVR nuts I've spoken to rate the 450 as a...
Someone's got to know of one in the Surrey area. I could do with one myself, lent the car to a mate for a day and came back with even more kerb marks all round. I could just about live with the ones I put on but now I'm thinking of selling in the summer I'm worried that it'll affect the resale...
NO, im just saying its better to pay a bit more for a car that has new breaks all round and a new cam belt. is it not?
or would you go for a car £500 less that needs new breaks and a cam belt?
i know what i would do when buying a car!
It'll go for around the same as any other one with...
About £5.5k but you could put it up for £5.7k and take best offer. Just because you've done the belts and put new brakes on doesn't mean that you've increased the value.
Just like when the gearbox and drive shaft was done, didn't mean that it suddenly went up about a grand in value. Probably the...
Not my cup of tea, especially the "carbon" bits and the chavtastic (imo) rear lights. Plus always thought a stealth rear backbox on the 172 was much better, a zorst sticking out underneath the rear valance looks like a zit on the end of your chin.....you just want to pick it off!
But it looks in...
Got to be the GT really. Come re-sale time that's what everyone will want. It happened to the current shape Type R, ones with A/C and fogs went at a premium and the basic models were sat on forecourts for months and generally only went for a few k less or when the price gap narrowed!
I've just deleted my PAYPAL account, dont use it and there's too many of these stories flying about for my liking!
Good luck with getting the money back etc
These are the only pics I could find of my mini, this is what she was like when I bought her. I took the back seats out and added the role cage, other than doing a little to the engine that's her!
Appologies for the photo's they were taken years ago by the previous owner.
Graphite grey 1.6 Pug 205 Gti F reg, bought it when I was 18 had it almost 2 years. Crashed it and sold the parts, the scappy picked up the rest.
Oh and my '76 mini resprayed in a Merc blue (quite like arctic actually), de-seamed, 1293 A+ series engine, LCB manifold, HIF44 carb, playmini SS...
Hi mate, it was nice that night wasn't it. I had a few blips of the right peg myself.
Cheers for the compliments, yours was v. clean looking and loved the colour. Quite rare round our way.
I haven't got tinternet at home at the moment (I'm having to ponce off my parents computer!), but I'll def...
Sad that I never got to see it in action. If not the Ibiza, how about a Cordoba 3 door? Again a bit different, subtle and fairly cheap. Plus the exclusivity???
Good luck with whatever you decide.
Yesterday at around 1130 on Stafford Road in Wallington.
I didn't catch the reg, it was going too fast for that! What a lovely sound they make :D .
I want, I want, I want.
+35 brake on a 1.4 with zorst, filter and chip???? Who'd you talk to, the work experience guy?
Apart from that, welcome and good luck with the modding.
I've seen that before around Gipsy Hill, dont think its anyone on here.
I wish I'd done a mini run when I had mine, the mrs hated it and I was forced to sell it :(
Thinking about investing in another though and just keep her for special occassions!
Very nice mate, goes well with the racing blue.
Think I would have just stuck to the calipers and the side badges imo, but as long as you're happy with it.
Tis good to be differrent!
As we've had our summer early I thought I'd take the effort and give the girl a much needed clean and finally get the CS sticker on. Finally!!
Check it out...:D
Guessing it was somebody on here......
Probably around 5.15 pm on Cheam High Street (think its called that) away from Sutton side. Didn't manage to see the reg, but you flashed at me and you had a silver looking tax holder or similar in the windscreen. Didn't notice any stickers, but I can't...
You were going the other way (from Roehampton arae) on the South circular through Sheen.
Both waved, I was in the arctic 182. Anyone on here?
Looked like yours has suffered the weather like mine! Must was her at the weekend.
The 182 that is, before anyone makes any comments about the mrs!
