lol, i guess for a starter boy racer sub it's ok! better than lanzar or something crap like that... but theres no match for the real stuff... RE audio.

Get a good pair of components, RE, focal, rainbow, boston, JBL... and a good amp... and you'll be rockin. Make sure your OEM HU has an option for preout... if not, get some half decent pioneer and run them from the HU.

Most HUs put out really sad RMS figures... I mean, you'll be lucky for a full 10watts.

How s**t.... Halfords says it all really.. I mean, it's good value and all... but it will not do deep bass the way an RE does. It's probably distortion packed... i mean don't let me put you off here.... go ahead and buy it.. but theres a lot better out there... It sounds like I work for RE, but...

Pioneer comps are efficient, but yes they have little watts... but, that doesn't make them quiet. I mean, if Bose can get a 5watt wave radio sufficently loud... then I'm pretty sure Pioneer can get a good pair of components very loud. Personally if it was me mate, get this...

Mate, go get yourself either a 10" SX from REaudio on Caraudiodirect.co.uk or an 8" RE unit... They kick backside!!!

Looks like we have no ICE boffins here :-( shame... Oh well.. I would not use any subs other than Pioneer and RE audio, and maybe a few others... but 3004spl is a great budget sub, the RE's though are just serious kit. Massive excursion, power, and sound quality... you'll never see anything...

Probably ok, but if your looking for sound quality... a pair of Rainbow, RE audio or even Focal, Boston Acoustics will beat them in power, performance and quality.

The speakers are in dash and there are no door speakers. You may be correct, door card cut and place a surround. Is it easy to cut straight? Yeah, I'd be interested, or at least interested where you can buy them? Could you send me a PM? Thanks! :approve:

Now, I know this is not a Clio Sport, I can't get insured on a Clio sport yet, as much as i'd like one. Thats the restrictions of being 18 and not with 3years no claims I guess.. Now my question is this, In the 1997 1.9d 4dr - there is no front door speaker pods, there is just the dash...
