car air con will always lose the refrigerant over time because of the vibrations throw the car, engine, etc.
if its left un-used throw winter the seals dry up and let buy, thats why they always tell you to run the air con in the winter at least once.
as forletting all the refrigerant out (gas)...
do you aslo no what refrigerant the systems running as if its old and run's on r12 its illegal to fix it and it'd have to be dicomisssioned or retro fitted mega bucks mate
i have a clio 1.8 16v and changing the head for a ported @ polished with bigger inlet and outlets just wondering about head gaskets can i put a thick head gasket to low the compresson ratio?.
filling them with the pollyfiller i think i will give a miss, my bro drives a starlet turbo he has a really torque damper off the top of the strut to the block looks trick and dose a really good job off stoping the engine slap.
but i still get bad engine slap when changing gear i have change my engine mounts before you ask and am looking to stiffen it up more also i've heard it helps get the power down to the wheels better too.
