I would be quite happy to pay up to £1500 for the right set up so money would not be an issue in this case.
fmp_ why do Compbrake recommend the cut n flare technique?
I have been on brembos and wilwood website and did not see the clio kit mentioned anywhere as for the compbrake im under the impression that they only fit late 172's or 182!
Hello guys
Just a quick question, are there any kits for a clio ph1 172 because I cant find any?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance ;)
Hi mate, from personal experience I must disagree with "the hoff" I had mine done when it went in for a clutch and it was money well spent the car revs a lot better.
But make sure that you get someone who know what they are doing...
Ben I have found a place where I can get 2 clio cup race car dashboards(new) are you interested, if so PM me because I need to let him know tomorrow. I already paid for 1 for me ...
I hear that someone did it just to see the difference on a rolling road and they found that it gained 3hp and but a drop on torque?!. But not sure if its true or not!
Hello everyone
Just a quick one, has anyone done this? how easy is it? what new parts would I need (bets ect) ?
Is there a guide for this anywhere.
Thanks in advance.
Right I have been to the web site www.perfectperformance.com and looked at the wiring diagram but it makes not sense at all. I dont know how to do it, I was told it would be five wires and that the instructions would be easy! Could anyone help me?
Thank you!
not knowing the engine spec could end up being one of those egg on face moments really... who says the torque has all gone by 6500rpm?
Keep up the good work Andy :approve:
Thats why I said I would like to see the graph oh knowledgeable one!
As for the egg on my face im not that bothered...
Not that impressive sorry, IMO whats the point off reving the hell of your engine when your power/torque would have all gone by 5500-6500 rpm unless its on track and even then raisin the rpm to 7000-7500 should be more than enough!? I would love to see the graph print out for this....
I bought the sheet already made I just cut it to size mate much eaiser than having to do it all in my opinion ( I tried and the sheet looked horrible with bubbles and imperfections so I left it to the professional lol)
