Its out on the 28th but I have my copy already. :rasp: Its a good magazine. It deserves to be successful. I for one welcome a modifying magazine that isn't like Max Power et al.
Looks seriously ugly too.
Might be a good design but wait till that foam starts breaking up like it always does on these.
My money would go on a Maxogen or Simota.

What we normally make for the BMW's is a very well sealed heatshield. The basic frame of the heatshield is metal but it's coated with a heat resistant foam. We also make sure the whole thing sits flush with the bonnet.
Any breather pipes also end up inside the enclosure through a sealed...
The thing is that most people do care and they don't just want something that makes a noise.
If you want just noise go buy a halfords drill with a fat drill bit and drill some holes into the airbox. That will make a very loud noise!
M
Not tested them properly and certainly not looked at some of the newer stuff they are coming out with.
We did find something though with the cone filters. If they are subjected to any sort of heat soak you have a problem. The metal gauze surrounding the cotton is quite thick and has a very...
Now that's money well spent.
I am working on a cheaper ITG induction system which uses the Maxogen filters.
We have had some excellent results on other cars using the same method.
Not quite as good as the Carbon Fibre Maxogen system but then no where near the price either. Still much better...
These kind of products really annoy me.
I've been into tuning cars for about 3 years now and we are so picky as to what we will and will not supply.
Compaines like Pipercross know very little about induction - it's just a load of marketing to sell and make money.
People automatically assume...
Fitted a Simota kit to a car which had a PIpercross on it - car sounded much better and pulled harder.
The Pipercross is just way too small.
Other problems encountered are that the foam quickly breaks up and gets sucked into the engine.
Very poor effort.

The difference between £300 coilovers and those from H&R will be alot. Not just in terms of build but ride quality and ultimate grip.
Cheaper kits tend to be poorly built and rock hard which just loses you grip.
H&R actually test everything on the road before it goes into production.
If your...
Anyone ever tried these?
From experience we have seen that H&R Springs are better than anythign else out there from an engineering point of view aswell as a driveability point of view.
They normally retail for £147 - if someone wants to try a set PM me for a great deal.

Why not just get the Supersprint one?
I have no idea about the Yozza one and am not knocking it in anyway.
You can have a quick look at what's available from Supersprint on one page here on our online shop -

Fred,
How you can say the Supersprint is not one of the best is beyond me. Joe at BTB highly rates them as being one of the best made and well tested exhausts around.
We do alot of business with BTB in the BMW market - very tasty stuff!
I don't know much about your exhaust and why it's the...
Cliosport.net members get them for £189.99 delivered. (We have also sorted out a deal to provide members who want ITG panel filters for £46.50 delivered.)
It doesn't come with a silicone hose as it can fit straight on to the existing pipe. The outlet pipe is not tiny, the size of the unit...
We have these in stock as of tommorrow - 24 units.
The reason for the post is because we are being bombarded with phone calls to purchase them and now finally we have them.
We are the exlcusive dealer for these in the UK so you cannot buy them anywhere else.

Maybe you should look into exhaust design and you might understand. Exhaust internals, bore size all comes into it.
Why does a 6 branch manifold release upto 18 bhp on some cars - it's justa bunch of pipes some could say!
Removing a CAT on most BMW's for exmaple yeilds some very good gains.
M
Also look at Supersprint for extremely high quality. The got a 7 bhp gain on a 172 with a metal cat and back box.
Much higher quality than most of the stuff on the market.
Decat - if you have an accident with your CAT removed and the car is taken away - you will not be covered for your car...
