    Multi Timer Unit Diagram

I have a phase 1 172 (owned for 10 years) which has one or two minor issues. The alarm no longer works - not too bothered as the car still drives ok & the drivers window does not operate. i think these issues may be multi timer unit issues. Does anyone have a diagram of the MTU showing which...

    How To Guides

I guess I'm being completely thick but how do I get to the 'How To' guides? I am a paid member & have been a member since 2006 but can't remember how I got to them previously!

    Plenum to inlet manifold gasket

Renault tell me that they do not supply the o'ring separately & that a replacement part with the ring will cost £40 approx. Can anyone confirm this as it seems ridiculous to have to spend...

    Rear ABS Ring

Further to an earlier posting regarding ABS rings on the rear discs, I have found that putting them on to a new disc without a pre fitted ring is extremely easy. Heat the ring up for about 30 seconds with a blow torch and the ring will just drop on to the new disc and then shrink to fit. Hope...

Rear Disc - Whats this in the middle *pic included*

Just a thought but the ABS ring on the rear disc (as shown) will come off quite easily (in my case!). A small steel drift through the hole where the wheel bolts on and a hammer will do the job - no heat required in my case. The key is a little at a time ie. one tap through one hole rotate to the...
