    Rear carbon fibre bumper bit

looks just like real carbon fiber, as that's what it is. It's not that crappy printed vinyl. I doubt its as easy to work with as vinyl though.

    Rear carbon fibre bumper bit

Real carbon fibre film can be bought from www.richbrook.com. Never used it myself but it's a sheet of real carbon fiber that I'm assuming is sandwiched between some clear vinyl.

    Removing rear side windows (3dr)

Right I've got the front 2 hinges off, that was easy. But the rear mounting point on the glass won't come off. It consists of a stud into a metal disc on the out side of the glass. The front 2 discs are fixed so you just unscrew the stud but the rear one just spins round. I've manages to...

    Alarm & Central Locking

it's not really as simple as that you need to put +12v on one wire to lock and a differnt one to unlock. Are you sure there's just one orange wire? Most alarm systems have a relayed output and usually 6 wires to fit all types of central locking.

insurance, what do you pay, on what car, with how many no claims...

I was paying £1,800 3rd party with adrian flux. I never actually payed that much as I changed my car near the end of the year but that was the renwal quote. The car was a moded Rover 620Ti (+200bhp, IG18) I'm 23 with 3yrs NC and no points. So after shopping around I managed to get a traders...
