You can do this yourself with a decent socket set and a hammer.
I did it on the wifes toyota when i lost her key after changing the pads.
Tighten up the other nuts as much as you can.
Hammer on a socket thas tight of it.
Undo.
BTW I think if I was buying one now, I'd go for a cheap one and spend the change on sorting it out. They are fragile if driven hard and need uprating. Certainly all the mountings and suspension.
The engine and gearbox seem really strong and except the steering wheel the interior is wearing well.
Get one with the cambelt done.
I have a 2002 172 and it needs engine mounts, wishbone bushes, top mounts, will it did, I have just done them. So budget for them if they haven't been done or if it done low mileage.
It still needs the exhaust looking at is it knocks too.
Check the air con...
Which Toyo's?
P Zero Nero's work well in all conditions and currently have them. The only pirelli tyre I have ever found decent in the wet.
Out of the 4 tyres I have had on this car I would but them in order:
1. GSD3
2. P Zero Nero
3. Toyo T1S
4. Toyo T1R
IMO grooved and drilled is a gimmick. Plain discs with the right pads is fine.
I use EBC yellows and found them fine for road and track. I don't think you can go wrong with the Ferodo equivilent either.
I have K-tec grooved discs fitted by the last owner. Once these pads and discs are done I...
I doubt its the ARB bushes. I have just changed engine mounts, wishbone bushes and top mounts. I left the arb alone.
One of the many knocks I had was the one your describe and all the knocks have gone without touching the arb.
The standard top mounts are crap. You need to pull them apart and rebuild them and take the play out of them. There was a thread about it started by PeteCup a couple of months ago.
Or fit the rose jointed ones.
I had knocks on my car with bumps, ramps, steering, accelerating. Everything and...
I run yellows on the front of mine and deicded standard rears are fine. I pick them up tomorrow. I'll let you know if they catch fire before the fronts do.

My 104k clio was feeling knackered. Its a standard car except stainless exhaust and newish cup dampers and springs and yellow pads.
High speed driving it wanders a bit. I get all sort of different knocks and bangs coming from the front. It pulls all over the place under hard braking.
And the...
Re: PH1 172 Track Car, abit special
I was just about to post that. Love the look, but seems odd you stripped it and resprayed, why not get a decent weld in cage?
