A while back I bought an exhaust from ebay claiming to be from an 04 172 FF. It had no picture and when it arrived it was clear it wasn't from a 172. It has completely different connections on it.

Checked mine and it seems it doesnt have one, or rather it has snapped off previously!! hence me not being able to find it. have to keep my eye out for one. The bumper seems secure enough without it though. Thanks for the help

In the middle of replacing my front 172 bumper and am struggleing to get the old one off. Ive removed the 2 x 10mm bolts in each arch liner but cant find the other 2 which are apparantly towards the centre of the bumper. Could anyone point me in the right direction as I am pulling my...
Yeah you got it in one mate I was in such a rush to get it done & thinking it was a 5 minute job I totaly forgot about the screw!.:S
No pics though cos after spending almost 2 hours getting the thing off I threw it the hedges behind my house in frustration.:mad:

Thanks for the reply. This is the replacment unit I have but my problem is that the rubber from the old bracket is stuck to the mount on the exhaust forcing me to cut it off. Now I cant fit the new bracket, as the mount on the exhaust cannot pass through the hole on the new exhaust bracket as...

Just started to replace my old rear exhaust bracket and managed to get the old one off fine, but the old rubber seems to have welded itself to the mount on the exhaust. Short of spending hours hacking at it does anyone have any tips on how I could remove the old rubber.
