Just beed to revilution this morning to get my new discs on with new ball bearings. Got there and they said the discs won't come off due to the bearings being melted or something! Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thankyou

Re: Best comment from your local Renault dealer ever Sir! you're front pads need replacing as they are now grinding to the discs! Ok no problem...but I thought you replaced those 3 weeks ago when I brought it in? Ah no Sir we replaced the rear ones, because they were more worn than the front...

At the moment i'm upgrading my 172 cup, just started with new koni shockers front and back, black diamond grooved and drilled discs front and back too. What kind of things should I be looking for when I am looking to get more performance out of the engine? Admittedly I know jack about chips...

hi all, I bough my 172 cup as an ex demo 4 years ago and i'm the second owner but I paid no VAT whatsoever on this car. You don't pay vat on second hand cars which is what the megane is, the garage owned it first that's why you will be the second owner of the car! my clio was only 3 months old...

don't know mate , but it's only costing nme £15 fitting to get it all sorted with warranty inc, would it not be easier to take it to someone?

I had 1.2 4 years ago and made the jump to a 172 cup, best thing i ever did! i'm paying £550 at the moment but that's because i'm 28 with 7 years no claims, I feel sorry for the younger drivers who are saving up, it's going to hit you hard!

had 24k service on my 172 cup and was told that i needed new rear discs and pads at a cost of £295+vat! checked with a local specialist and got the same but named brand for £150inc vat and fitting!

Bought my cup march 03 and its now done 40k and still going strong! Recently given up with the dealers as they know jack s**t!

A Renault Dealer in Newcastle have a 172 cup up for £7995 on an 03 plate yet 3 months ago they offered me £5500 to part exchange my cup also on an 03 plate for a megane 225!
