Hi guys does anybody have any idea what would need changing on a 172 to run a 182 lump in it? As far as i am aware they are both an F4R engine so i don't really see an issue and the big difference was the exhaust manifold.

Hi can anyone tell me what the black box is infront of the front drivers wheel, it has a pipe coming from the back of the air intake manifold, it also has a wire going into it which sudgests a sensor of some sorts. I need to know if it is ok to remove and if i need to cap anything off if i do!

I have removed the seats from my 172 ph1 as I am using it with buckets as a track car, can anyone tell me what resistoror or fuse I need to connect to the seat wiring to turn off the airbag light?

I have recently taken out my seats and fitted bucket seats, can you tell me which wires I need to link out to turn off the service and airbag light? Cheers Scott

Hi, before I attempt to remove my aircon display to replace it can anybody give me an idea of what is involved or where to start so i dont break anything?

I have a 53 reg 172 with 68k on the clock I had a 172 from new and on my little test stretch was able to reach 140 at the top. However the one I have now struggles at 110, could this be a tired engine or does anybody have any ideas before I sell because I got beat by a knob in an astral diesel

Hi guys I am after some advice on fitting a 182 exhaust manifold on a 172. Basically I want to know if it is a fairly straight forward swap or is there a lot of stuff to remove! cheers
