under hard acceleration in first and second it vibrated against the subframe.. so i replaced the dogbone mount, but now the vibration is worse.. it rubs on the frame in all gears on mild acceleration.. is there a bit of movement on the dogbone mount? or should i replace the gearbox mounts as ive...
yeah.. mine does that.. on a straight can feel the car snatching to the right which makes steering feel heavy but yet its light to the left.. are track rods the same from 1.2 upwards? as i might order all 4
Ph1 sport seems light on steering at 60, and it pulls me left and right depending on rd surface, and also a knock when i go around corners.. Is this the strut knocking or cv joint knackered??
its hard to say.. it gets to the limit... but kinda runs out of puff.. so at 4.5k pulls really well then at 5.8k the revs slow down like its time to change gear but doesnt readily fly around and bounce of the limiter..
where is the coolant temp sensor on the engine? i will change the thermostat...
also car warms up fine and heaters work..so thermostat must be opening and closing.. how is the signal picked up? where is the signal for the limiter sent from
i have recently bought a 172 and love it but the shift light comes on at 6k rpm and the limiter about at about 6200rpm
pullls strong up until around 5800 where the revs slow down like its struggling to rev that high....
