yeh i was gona go to ktec, but they quoted me 2 and a half hours labour and totalled nearly £300. i can fit them myself for £0 im just trying to do it all on a low as budget as possible

as before m8 have tried my sub rca's which are high quality and still getting the same problem. I have a preout on my main amp could i try running a signal from that output to the input on the smaller amp?

its earthed directly to a cleaned bit on the isobar on the back seat.

i have a feeling its going to be the earths!! have just spoken to an ICE company who say 99% is earth. only thing is when i take the rca's out the noise stops....??

still getting the same interference. the subs work fine from both pre outs so i cant see it being the headunit or loom. the headunit works perfectly in a different car with no interference at all, by the sounds of it its going to be the alternator.....???

there are no pre outs for rca's on the standard h/u bud so you wouldnt be able to send a signal from the headunit to the amp without some major bodging.

west where m8? south west u have got sextons. have u tried halfrauds they know pretty much sweet FA but they can usually get hold of what im after they just dont know wot it is for :P??

no mate all power and signal are kept completely seperate rcas are down the driver side and remote and power down the passenger side. Also checked the remote incase it was snagged and even replaced the remote just to be super safe lol.

oh and BOTH amps are earthed to the rear headlight...... its been suggested that i earth them seperately? Only thing is i dont see this making a difference as the earth shouldnt have any current through it anyway u either have a good earth or a bad earth and the fact that the 2800w amp works...

iv managed to pick myself up a tidy little 2006 clio 1.6 16v dynamique s :) with 7000 miles :) £6500. got it yesterday took all my bits n bobs out the old clio n have gone to install the sub today....I CANT FIND A WAY FROM THE BATTERY INTO THE CAR!! somebody please help!!

yeh speed figures are bollox, top end n 0-60 are all jus robbed from the manufacturers stats, if u rag the tits out of it they will do alot more than they say, official bhp figures are all correct tho. n its nippy as f*#k for a 1.2. I like.

Does anybody know what the performance is like after putting an IK on a 1.2 16v sport? there is an extra 15bhp on all the other 1.2s as standard so just wondering if there is a slight performance gain over the 60 brake 1.2s? also does anybody have any idea what other differences the sport engine...
