Hammerite smooth, or halfords paint?
Have got some rear caliper carriers here, so had a play with them, got them blasted, then sanded them with some 800grit paper to get them a bit smoother, sprayed them with vht paint off ebay. Came out good but not what im after.
Have had a search and seen people either using halfords paint, or...

Probs set the bar way to low on the machine so it was tochin the wheel, then when theyv span it round its gone the whole way around the wheel

Take wheel off
undo the 2 bolts holding the carrier on, pull off carrier, might need a lever to help it off
remove old pads and check with new pads there the same
Push the piston back in the caliper with some big water pump pliers
clean up where the pads will be sitting with a wire...

Had a call around and to my surprise not many people did rear shocks for them, allthough 1 place found me 1 for £60+vat
Been on gsf website, they didnt list rear shocks, and i cant see the discs or pads, just greenstuff...
1.4rt. has been running fine for years now. came back toit last night and started, then is tickin over strange, and cutting out.
It runs fine over 2.5k revs. But sometimes wont tick over,then sometmes ticks over at 2.5k???

Most of the time it doesnt even work, and yes you can repair it after, but it all has to be cleaned out, not nice, dont expect a friendly service from the tyre chap lol
Puting the dash back in, have come to put the clock/little pocket flap part back, have joined the clock up with the wires that clip on, on the back of the clock is a space for a bulb, is this just a simple twist in bulb? or does it have a feed/wire to it?

was going to put this in car parts, but it wont let me. Got a powerflow back box for a mk2 clio (the bubble ones), it was used as a display product, has been used, it is all stainless and has a slash cut exit, looks nice, wots it worth
