Morning all.
Haven't shown my face on here for a long time, completely left the Renault scene behind in favour of jap metal but here I find myself again considering another ClioSport!?
Considering selling the Evo because, although it's an insanely fast car and a very special place to be, the...
I've just reached tier 5 tanks and it's nails, considered going premium but never paid for in game purchases before.
Can't decide what type of tank I want to specialise in. I love tank destroyers, finding that perfect hiding spot and sniping unsuspecting foes with a one shot kill.
Light tanks...
Holy crap this game has taken over my life!
I've always had an interest in WW2 era machinery and particularly the armour, so this game is right up my street.
Was recommended to download it by a family member last weekend and I've been up til 2am every night this week playing, it's so...
I've never seen oil temps on trackdays an issue with non turbo'd cars unless your revving at VTEC levels.
Obviously cheaper to replace oil than fit an oil temp gauge, what sort of temp limits are there between the cheap and expensive stuff?
Occassional trackday once every couple months. I've always considered one track mile to ten road miles when adjusting service intervals.
Yes Evo intervals are silly really considering the Megane 265 can punch out similar power and has an interval of 12k? And they say French tin is crap!?
I've recently done an oil change and used Fuchs supersyn 5w-40, fully sythetic oil but their cheapest line.
Plans have changed and I've now decided I want to do a few trackdays over winter, car is standard power and won't be revved over 7k.
Is it a safe idea to replace oil with something like...
They don't usually have club stands for test and tune but nice going if you've managed to sort it.
Price rise from last year is a little cheeky considering the poor surface, inaccurate timing and hours long wait times between runs. You can pretty much get a days worth of RWYB at Santa pod for...
Hi mate mine made 230bhp with ITBs and high comp forged pistons in its final setup.
It had CatCam adjustable vernier cam pulleys with a hole cut out of the cover to allow the exhaust cam to be adjusted whilst running. ( as in turn it off, adjust and fire up again. Not actually adjusting it...
What's the score with non Renaults? I've always attended CSS and managed to slip in last year with the 265 however I don't have that anymore :( Would love to bring the Evo but depending where you'll stick me? Is there a non Renault section?
Just after a quick bit of advice.
I have never been into big sound systems and don't usually go further than a head unit when playing around with them so I am as far from an expert as can be.
When I got the mrs scooby a few weeks back it had some great big rediculous speaker setup in the boot...
Considering parting with my 172 to free up some funds, but depending how much I could get for it if someone can give me a ball park figure...
2000 Ph1 172
102000 miles
Aluminum bonnet and shift light model
Great condition except for a few stone chips and one door ding
Loads of work done in the...
I'm into detailing yes but have never tried my hand at machine polishing with different compounds etc. by the time i get all the gear and figure it out may aswell give it to someone.
I always remember an old friend who tried it with his CTR and somehow managed to leave a big burn mark on the...
I don't doubt for their work for the £750 and I'm sure the results would even be worth it, but seriously who has that kind of money to spend on a polish up these days!
I may have to save up my pennies.
Looking at a new car to buy, red in colour but swirl marked quite badly and really takes a lot away from an otherwise mint car.
Got a couple of quotes last night for a paint correction ( megane 250 size car ) and they came back at circa £750! Is this the usual cost of such a treatment?
I could...
